Rhenium(Re)is a kind of extremely scarce and scattered metals,and it has no separate mineral which make it to be a very high economic and strategic value resource.Copper smelting waste acid containing rhenium,due to technical,cost and other reasons,most domestic factories do not reclaim rhenium from copper smelting waste acid which leads an enormous waste of resources.By the analysis of literature about reclaiming rhenium,the thesis developed a kind of targeted precipitant which could reclaim rhenium and copper from waste acid base on chemical precipitation method.The research carried out some laboratory experiments and onsite semi-industrial test.A process of comprehensive extraction of rhenium and copper was designed,and the equipment selection,layout and investment estimation were analysed.The main contents were listed as follows:(1)By the analysis of foreign literature about extractung rhenium,we found that industrial application process of waste acid extraction rhenium is "anion exchange resin method + washing and extraction of thiocyanate aqueous solution + evaporation and crystallization".By the analysis of chinese literature,the process of "ion exchange resin enrichment rhenium +extraction + anti extraction + evaporation,crystallization and purification" was basically achieved in industrial company.Technically,chinese industrial process is better than foreign process.Chinese industrial process failed to large-scale application in China,because of the consideration of cost,materials,environmental protection.(2)Through the comparative study of diffferent ion exchange resin,we found resin D301 could be used in the process.Through the comparative study of 6 main kinds industrial application that extracting rhenium from waste acid,the chemical precipitation method has been chosed for its advantages of simple process,easy operation,more green,low investment and cost.It is suitable for extracting rheniumion from copper smelting waste acid which had a low concentration of rheniumion.(3)Using resin D301,we can reclaim the rhenium and copper in waste acid,and element As is hardly precipitated together with rhenium and copper.Re and Cu have a precipitation rate>99%,and As has a precipitation rate of 6%.Based on this,an overall process was designed that can extract rhenium from copper smelting waste acid.The detailed process is "target heavy Re and Cu + rich rhenium slag pressure leaching + prepare KRe04 from rhenium rich liquid + sink copper".Finally,we reclaimed KRe04 with a purity up to 99.99%,and the CuS with a purity about 60-65%.Re comprehensive reclaim rate up to 86%with Cu comprehensive reclaim rate up to 80%,and As removal rate up to 94%.(4)The thesis designed a preliminary industrial project to reclaim Re from copper smelting waste acid.The reclaiming process tightly combined with producting process,which has a short flow and payback period and green.It need small area and less investment,which can provide a reference for domestic rhenium reclaiming project.The thesis developed industrial project to reclaim Re from copper smelting waste acid,which overcomed the problems in existing industrial project to reclaim Re including long process,complex media,complicated operation and low reclaiming rate.The new methed has advantages of short process,simple operation,low cost,green and good effect.It is suitable for domestic rhenium reclaiming project,and can be applied to achieve high valuable utilization of rhenium resources from smelting waste acid.
