Glass aggregate concrete(GAC)is a new kind of concrete that produced with recycle glass as replacement of aggregate like sand and gravel.While the material applied in the engineer practice,the bond behavior between bars and GAC is a basic question during structure design,besides GAC's compressive strength,splitting tensile strength and static modulus of elasticity.Based on the importance of bond behavior,this work conducted pull-out tests,half-beam tests,strain-stuck-on-the-bars tests and a series of strength test,to investigate the bond behavior between bars and GAC and the distribution of bond stress and relation slip displacement.This thesis mainly completed the following work:(1)Compressive strength tests of GAC were conducted.The change regularity of GAC's cube compressive strength and splitting tensile strength while glass aggregate replace the coarse and fine aggregate in the natural aggregate concrete by different replacement ratios is analyzed,through changed type of glass aggregate and the mass replacement ratio of glass aggregate.The experimental results showed that the type of glass aggregate and the mass replacement ratio have impact on the strength of GAC;(2)Half-beam tests of GAC were conducted.Through change glass aggregate type,glass aggregate mass replacement ratio and embedded length,the researcher investigated the influence on the failure mode,bond stress versus relative slip replacement curve,and bond characteristic values of half-beam specimens that induced by the factors.The research results showed,glass aggregate type,glass aggregate mass replacement ratio and embedded length have impact on the failure mode,bond stress versus relative slip replacement curve,and bond characteristic values.Based on the statistical regression of test results,formulas related to glass aggregate replacement ratio and bond length is established to calculate the bond characteristic values;(3)Pull-out tests were conducted.Through change glass aggregate type,and glass aggregate mass replacement ratio h,the researcher investigated the influence on the ultimate bond stress and the corresponding slip displacement that induced by the two factors.The similarities and differences of bond failure mode,bond stress versus relative slip displacement curve and bond characteristic values of the specimens belong to pull-out tests or half-beam tests were compared.The influence of different stress condition on the bond behavior between bar and GAC was analyzed.(4)Pull-out tests and half-beam tests with strain gauge stuck on the bars were conducted.According to the steel bar strain data collected in the test,the distribution curve on the bond length of steel bar stress,bond stress and relative slip displacement were obtained.
