Graphene oxide is a carbon material, which ppossesses monolayer structure and has a large amount of oxygen-containing functional groups.Because of large specific surface area,as well as a large number of easy to be functionalized oxygen-containing functional groups and other unique characteristics, graphene oxide is easily modified due to having a variety of functional graphene oxide materials.Functionalized graphene oxide and its composites are widely used in biology, sensor, catalysis, water treatment and other fields. In this paper, graphene oxide, using as a precursor, was functionalized by non-covalent modification or covalent modification to prepare functional graphene oxide materials.Their s applications were investigated and discussed. The results obtained include the following three aspects:(1)A novel amino-mercapto-functional graphene oxide was prepared and its structure, morphology and properties were characterized by FT-IR,XPS,XRD,Raman,SEM and TGA.The functionalized graphene had been applied to absorbe the Cd(II)from the aqueous solution ad.The results showed that the optimum p H was 5.5,the adsorption equilibrium time was 160 min the maximum adsorption capacity was as high as 174.8 mg·g-1.The pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption model were fited..(2)The thiourea-functionalized graphene oxide was prepared and its structure and morphology were characterized by FT-IR,XRD and SEM.The functionalized graphene had been applied to adsrobe the Cd(II)from the aqueous solution. The results showed that the optimum p H was 5,the adsorption equilibrium time was 80 min and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 86.0 mg·g-1.The pseudo-second-order kinetic and the Langmuir adsorption model model were fited.(3)A montmorillonite@graphene oxide composite was prepared and its structure was characterized by FT-IR,XRD,SAXS and SEM.It was also used to catalyze the synthesis of 2-(1-phenylvinyl)aniline from benzyne and aniline.84% of the catalytic property was still remained after reusing for three times. The structure of the product was confirmed by 1C NMR and 13 H NMR.
