The over-discharge of greenhouse gases including carbon dioxide is the main cause of global warming, and the community has given it high concern. There are large amount of direct and indirect carbon emissions in the production, transportation, processing of the fresh agri-products supply chain that consists of non-fresh-cut and fresh-cut pattern.Based on the above background, this thesis mainly studies the following aspects:Firstly, measure the carbon footprint of the fresh agri-products industry using the EIO-LCA,which shows that energy, electricity consumption and transportation are the key links for carbon emissions. Then construct carbon footprint estimation model of fresh agri-products supply chains using LCA and IO under two operation patterns.Secondly, construct network optimization model for fresh agri-products supply chain considering the carbon footprint under the two operating patterns.Taking the cost and carbon emissions as the objective functions, optimizing the transportation volume in the non-fresh-cut pattern, transportation volume and the fresh-cut volume in the fesh-cut pattern. Finally, set parameters by field surveys and references, and solve models using GA.The results show that:First, cost and carbon dioxide emissions under both patterns are reduced by optimizing the decision variables.Secondly, when there is obvious scale effect on fresh-cut pattern, the cost and carbon emissions under the fresh-cut pattern are less than none-fresh-cut pattern.Thirdly, sensitivity analysis found that the impact of the carbon tax price change on the cost and carbon emissions under the fresh-cut pattern is less than the non-fresh-cut pattern;the change in the deteriorating rate and the proportion of fresh-cut agri-products demand will have great impact on costs and carbon emissions under two patterns. In view of the above results, this thesis proposes the promotion of fresh-cut pattern, the optimization of the logistics network from the government level and the corporate level and reasonable reduction of the loss in order to achieve the sustainable development of the fresh agricultural product supply chain, which accordingly reduce the environmental effect.
