Graphene is the most ideal two-dimensional nano-materials,and also is the basic unit of constituteing fullerenes,carbon nanotubes and graphite.Due to its excellent properties,including electrical,thermal,magnetic,and it has obtained extensive researches and applications in the field of the super capacitor,DNA diagnosis,environmental pollution treatment,lithiumion battery and energy storage.Many important results have been achieved up to date.In addition,graphene shows a lot of novel physical and chemical properties,which has triggered a new direction for many fields,for the future economic and social development.This paper includes two parts:The first part is the fabrication of ethylenediamine functionalization graphene oxide?EDA-GO?,which is investigated through a variety of characterization methods,such as Infrared analysis,X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis methods.By using GO and EDA-GO as filler,respectively,GO/CPE/PS and EDA-GO/CPE/PS composites have been prepared and investigated by using morphological observation,mechanical and thermal studies.At 1575 cm-1,the peak belong to the bending vibration of amino?-NH-?and C-N stretching vibration peak,confirmed that the secondary amide linkage?-CO-NH-?.The results showed that EDA was grafted successfully onto graphene oxide.TG analysis of composite materials indicated that the addition of filler improved greatly the thermal stability of the CPE/PS blends.When the filler content is 0.5 wt.%,the tensile strength of EDA-GO/CPE/PS composites increased by 38%than those of CPE/PS blends;The impact strength of the GO/CPE/PS composites increased by 24%,those of CPE/PS blends.The second part is the preparation of silane coupling agent modification graphene prepared under different experimental conditions.That is APTES-g-GO?AS-GO,PAS-GO and AT-GO?.The APTES-g-GO/POE-g-MAH/PS nanocomposites were prepared via melt blending by using APTES-GO as nano-fillers.The micro-structure,mechanical properties and thermal performance of the prepared nanocomposites have been studied carefully through Morphology,mechanical properties and thermal properties.TG analysis results indicated that thermal stabilities showed the order of:AS-GO>PAS-GO>AT-GO>GO.When the filler content was 0.75 wt.%,the AS-GO/POE-g-MAH/PS showed the best comprehensive performance.The tensile and impact strength increased up to 19%and 31%respectively,compared to those of POE-g-MAH/PS.The microstructure observations of the composite showed that using APTES-g-GO as compatibilizers,improved the interface interactions between POE-g-MAH and PS,resulting in reducing POE-g-MAH phase particle size and achieving more uniform dispersion of particles.From the TG curves,we can see that the addition of filler improved greatly the thermal stabilities of the POE-g-MAH/PS blends.The Tm,T50%and T90%of 0.75 wt.%AS-GO/POE-g-MAH/PS nanocomposites increased by 7?,3? and 7? respectively,in contrast to POE-g-MAH/PS blends.
