1.Aristolochia mollissima Hance and Aristolochia tuberosa O.F.Liang et S.M.Huang,belonged to the genus Aristolochia of the Aristolochiaceae family, are common Chinese herbal medicines. And their main active ingredients are in the fruit parts. This paper systematically studied the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of their fruits.Combined with atmospheric silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography, preparation of liquid phase, the precipitation and recrystallizatio methods, eighteen compounds were isolated from methanol extracts of the two plants. These compounds were identified by using the modern advanced spectrum analysis technique(including 1HNMR,13CNMR,EI-MS and ESI-MS)comparing with the data of the literature.Furthermore, nematicidal activity of these monomer compounds against the second stage juvenile(J2)of Meloidogyne javanica were screened and evaluated.Fourteen compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Aristolochia mollissima Hance fruits.Their structures were identified as aristolochic acid I(m-1),aristololactam I(m-2),aristololactam W(m-3),manshurolide(m-4),aristolactone(m-5),saropeptate(m-6),2-(1-oxononadecyl)aminobenzoic acid(m-7),1-sitosterol(m-8),sitostanetriol(m-9),daucosterol(m-10),formosolic acid(m-11),5-ethyl-8,8-dimethyl nonanal(m-12),tetracosanoic acid,2,3-dihydroxypropyl ester(m-13)and tetracosanoic acid(m-14).It is the first time that compounds m-2-4,6-7,9-14 were separated from Aristolochia mollissima Hance.Four compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Aristolochia tuberosa O.F.Liang et S.M.Huang fruits, their structures were identified as aristololactam W(z-1),8-epidiosbulbin e acetate(z-2),diosbulbin B(z-3)and ?-sitosterol(z-4).Compounds z-1-3 were separated from Aristolochia tuberosa O.F.Liang et S.M.Huang for the first time.Furthermore, nematicidal activity of eighteen monomer compounds against the second stage juvenile(J2)of Meloidogyne javanica in vitro were analyzed. The compounds m-1-3,6-7 and z-1-3 exhibited different degrees toxic effects on J2 of M.javanica in vitro, especially for aristolochic acid I,aristololactam I and aristololactam W with the LC50 values of 45.25 ?g/mL,36.56 ?g/mL,119.46 ?g/mL after 96 h.So,Aristolochiaceae family have the potential value of developing new plant source to control root nematodes.2.M.microphylla is a wild perennial herb of the genus Murraya Koenig ex L that has potential antifungal activities. In order to understand the inhibitory activity constituents from Murraya microphylla, eleven compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Murraya microphylla stems by using silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography, precipitation and recrystallization methods. On the basis of spectral data, their structures were identified as girinimbine(x-1),mahanimbine(x-2),koenimbine(x-3),koenidine(x-4),mukonal(x-5),murrayanine(x-6),murrayaquinone-B(x-7),7-oxysitosterol(x-8),?-sitostero(x-9),daucosterol(x-10)and tetracosanoic acid, methyl ester(x-11).Compounds x-2-3,5-8,10-11 are first separated from M.microphylla.Furthermore,Carbazoles(x-1-7)exhibited different degrees inhibition effects on the tested eight plant fungal pathogens, murrayanine and girinimbine showed a broad spectrum and potent activity against these fungal pathogens, especially highly active for Magnaporthe grisea(Hebert)Barr.with the IC50 values of 65.81 ?g/mL,157.46 ?g/mL.
