The synthesis of syngas by CO2 reforming of CH4 is one of the hot topics in the field of chemical and chemical industry.The traditional way to make synthesis gas from CH4 has the disadvantages of harsh conditions and low conversion rate,which makes the exploration and research of new method more and more concerned.Discharge plasma technology is a new method.For this reason,taking DC corona discharge plasma as the main body,combining with photo-catalyst of TiO2,The CO2reforming of CH4 by DC corona plasma with catalyst to produce syngas was carried out.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:?1?The research results of raw gas ratio showed that the volume ratio of CH4and CO2 should be equal.Because whatever the CH4 content is too high or too low,raw materials conversion and yield rate decrease and specific energy consumption increase.But the ratio of hydrogen in product gas can be changed effectively by changing the CH4 content.?2?The research results of discharge voltage showed that increasing discharge voltage can improve the conversion rate of raw materials and the yield rate of target product.When the voltage increased from 15kV to 19kV,the conversion rate of raw materials increased from 7.68%to 59.72%,the yield rate increased from 5.42%to57.13%,energy conversion efficiency reached the highest point of 87.33%.The specific energy consumption reached the lowest point of 173.53kJ/mol.?3?The research results of total gas flow showed that the appropriate increase of the total gas flow is beneficial to the improvement of energy conversion efficiency and the reduction of specific energy consumption.When the total gas flow increased from 85ml/min to 245ml/min,the conversion rate of raw materials decreased from63.33%to 57.04%,the yield rate decreased from 60.87%to 54.09%,but the energy conversion efficiency reached the highest point of 88.40%,specific energy consumption close to the lowest point of 153.55kJ/mol.This is of great significance in the actual process.?4?The research results of synergistic use of DC corona plasma and TiO2showed that the presence of TiO2 catalyst improved the conversion of raw material and the target product yield,the conversion of raw materials increased from 57.04%to 74.15%,the target product yield rate increased from 54.09%to 70.12%.At the same time,the use of catalytic can effectively reduce specific energy consumption,increase energy conversion efficiency,making the specific energy consumption decreased from 153.55kJ/mol to 107.48kJ/mol,making the energy conversion efficiency increased from 88.40%to 95.34%.Therefore,the synergistic use of DC corona plasma and photo-catalyst TiO2 is not only easy to operate,but also improves the conversion rate of raw materials and the yield rate of target products,which is a new method worthy of further research for CO2 reforming of CH4 to produce syngas.
