Study measured the diffusion on surface of the water of 22 kinds of plant essential oil,Nepeta oil,ginger oil,citronella oil,artemisia argyi oil and spearmint oil co uld keep a good state of spreading without precipitate,crystallization or layer-separation.And study measured the solubility of azadirachtin in the 5 kinds of plant essential oil.By screening in the nepeta oil,citronella oil,ginger oil,the three kinds of plant essential oil,study decided to formulation spreading oil(SO)of 1% azadirachtin with citronella oil last.Azadirachtin is a kind of extract oil from the neem tree terpene chemicals,has strongly rejected on insect feeding and hinder the growth and development.Azadirachtin of rice planthopper also has a certain refus feeds,poison,uptake and growth inhibition.This study had develop the formulation of 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella and application in paddy field.By comparing SO of emulsifiable concentrate(EC)of azadirachtin,calculated the spatial distribution and half-life of the two kinds of preparation on the riceThe color of 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella was Yellow transparent liquid.The formulation had been stored at 25 ?,(54±2?)or(0?)for 14-days without precipitate,crystallization or layer-separation.The decomposition rate was 8.5%,14.6% and 0.90% by HPLC.The spreading speed of 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella was 10.86cm/s and spreading area was 2142.21 cm2.The study measured the following result by HPLC,The half-life of azadirachtin was 8.57 ~18.08 h inside the rice plant,and 8.57 ~18.08 h inside water when 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella was applied in paddy field.The half-life of azadirachtin was 6.73~11.55 h inside the rice plant,and 11.23~11.31 h inside water when 0.3% azadirachtin EC was applied in paddy field.It showed that rice plant co uld adsorption 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella effective,thus azadirachtin wo uld control effect on rice planthoppe.The half-life of oxyfluorfen was 2.33~2.67 d inside the rice plant,0.53~0.59 d inside water,and 1.04~1.38 d inside the soil when 10% oxyfluorfen SO was applied in paddy field..The degradation rate of oxyfluorfen was fast,there was few residue in the environment.O xyfluorfen made no influence of azadirachtin distribution in paddy fields.After using 1% azadirachtin SO based in C itronella,the formulation spreaded on paddy water surface.The field efficacy showed that the correction control effect was 31.25% at the third day,72.55% at the seventh and 38.05% at the Fifteenth day.The data showed that the harm of planthopper has been completely controlled.
