Tung oil is a natural and renewable vegetable oil,cheap and resource-rich.However,tung oil is mainly used in traditional coatings and inks fields,with lower added value,cumbersome process and high VOC emissions,and is subjected to national environmental regulations.Therefore,tung oil or tung oil derivatives are modified chemically and continuously expanded in new application areas.It has very realistic significance in our life.The paper consists of two parts,the synthesis of alkylation products?C AT-ME?of methyl eleostearate catalyzed by solid acid?PW/SiO2?and the preparation of hydroxyethyl acrylate modified epoxy methyl eleostearate and the characterization of UV-curable coating.Tung oil and methanol were used as the reaction raw materials and NaOH as the catalyst.Then,methyl eleostearate?ME?was prepared by transesterification reaction under certain conditions,and then it was modified chemically by fried-crafts and epoxidationreaction.?1?It has carried out fried-crafts reaction using methyl eleostearate?ME?and catechol as raw materials by solid acid?PW/SiO2?as catalyst.In results,the formation of alkylation products methyl eleostearate-catechol?CAT-ME?was generated.In order to identify its structure,the product's structure was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy,ultraviolet absorption spectrophotometer,nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and HPLC/MS,and finallyit was successfully synthesized.In the study of UV curing alkylation products?CAT-ME?,the best proportion of system for 70%of the 2665-3 resin,13%of TPGDA monomer,10%of alkylation products and 7%of the 819 light initiator.?2?Epoxidized methyl eleostearate?EME?was synthesized through the reaction of methyl hydrogen peroxide with oxalic acid and glacial acetic acid.The effects of reaction time,reaction temperature and material ratio on the epoxy value of the product were investigated.The optimum conditions for the preparation of epoxidized methyl eleostearate were obtained.?EME-HEA?oligomers were obtained by ring-opening reaction of hydroxyethyl percarbonate with hydroxyethyl acrylate?HEA?.To determine the best photoinitiator,active monomer and resin,the effects of different photoinitiators,reactive monomers and resins on the UV curing of EME-HEA oligomer was explored.And,the different content of EME-HEA oligomers was added into the best system and curabled to film under the UV light.In the end,the gel conent,tensile strength and thermal stability of the films were tested.Itdetermines that adding 10%-15%EME-HEA to the system is better ultimately.
