Study On Furniture Design Based On The Characteristics Of Small Diameter Fast-growing Eucalyptus

The wood has soft luster,unique texture,and has been a favorite furniture material for a long time.With the extensive use of wood resources,precious wood is increasingly scarce,use of fast-growing wood can help relieve stress.Small diameter eucalyptus as a typical representative of the fast-growing wood resource,has been active in the use of industrial materials,but rarely in the use of solid wood furniture.Based on the study of the physical and mechanical properties and the bonding strength of the small diameter fast-growing eucalyptus,the feasibility of the application of the small diameter eucalyptus wood to the solid wood furniture was discussed.Then,the visual physical quantity of the wood and the surface treatment material was studied,summed up the suitable furniture design criteria for small diameter fast-growing eucalyptus.The main results are as follows:(1)Small diameter eucalyptus wood has medium density and good dry shrinkage.The biggest factor of effects for small diameter eucalyptus wood screw binding strength is screw into the depth.When the combination of parameters for the wall plate tapping screws,guide hole diameter of 3.2mm,into the depth of 25 mm,the combination get the maximum strength,in addition,the wall tapping screw thread tip sharp,more suitable for fast-growing eucalyptus wood.The through square tenon union has the best performance and is suitable for small diameter fast-growing eucalyptus wood for furniture structure.Compared with Pinus massoniana Lamb and Hevea spp wood,the physical and mechanical properties and structure bonding strength small diameter fast-growing eucalyptus wood reached the requirements of wood for furniture.(2)The average hue of the surface of the small diameter fast-growing eucalyptus materials is 2.2Y,indicating that it is a light yellow tone.With the increase in diameter,the color difference ?
