Organsulfur compounds exist widely in nature.Recently they have been applied in pharmaceuticals and organic synthesis. On the other hand, cyclic compounds have received increasing attention because of their unique properties. Therefore,it is meaningful to prepare sulfur-containing cyclic compounds. The free radical pathway provides an effective approach to prepare these compounds. This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, oxidation of AgSCF3 generated SCF3 radical, which attacked acetylenidones to afford a series of trifluoromethylthiolated cyclic ketones in moderate to high yields. In the second part, the reaction of 2,3-dienoic acids and disulfides?or diselenium ethers?in the presence of copper salt and oxidant, with formic acid as a co-solvent,gave a series of sulfur-containing 2?5H?-furan compounds in medium to high yields.
