The plants, animals, and microbes of the buffer zone are very important c-omponents of wetland ecosystems.Studying the diversity and composition features of the biological community in the buffer zone of the lake and the charac-teristics of water quality change have important significance for the protectionof the ecological environment of the buffer zone and the restoration of water. This paper selects the buffer zone of the lake bank from the four major bran ches of Hongfeng Lake, the deepwater lake of the Karst plateau,as the researc-h object. The physicochemical properties and water quality parameters of the s-oil were measured, and the biodiversity of soil plants, animals, and microorganisms was analyzed.Among them, microbial sampling high-throughput technolo-gy was used for sequencing analysis. The results showed that:(1)The plant diversity indices of the four main branch in Lake Hongfeng in the flood season were: Maxian River>Maiweng River> Houliu River>Yangc hang River.Lolium perenne L.,Cynodon dactylon,Trifolium repens,Poa annu a L.and Alternanthera philoxeroides were dominant species. The plant diversity index in dry season was: Yangchang River>Maxian River>Maiweng River>Ho uliu River.Eremochloa ophiuroides(Munro)Hack.,Cynodon dactylon,Digitaria sanguinalis(L.)Scop.and Lolium perenne L.were the dominant species. The p-lant diversity during the wet season is greater than that during the dry season. This is mainly due to the seasonal changes in the water level.(2)The colony composition of soil microbes at the gate level presents sim-ilarities.The dominant bacteria gate is:Proteobacteria?Acidobacteria?Cyanbact eria?Chloroflexi?Firmicutes? The dominant fungal gates are:Ascomycota?Bas idiomycota?Chytridiomycota.During the flood season, the diversity of soil bacte-ria in the buffer zone of the lake bank of the four lakes of Hongfeng Lake was: Houliu River>Maxian River>Maiweng River>Yangchang River, and the dif-ference between Houliu River and Yangchang River was significant;the fungal community diversity was: Yangchang River>Maxian River>Houliu River>Maiw eng River, there was no significant difference in the diversity among the four plots. The diversity index of the bacteria in dry season is: Maiweng River>Yan gchang River>Houliu River>Maxian River;the diversity of fungi is: Houliu Ri ver>Maiweng River>Yangchang River>Maxian River.Seasonal differences are m-ainly manifested in the lower number of soil f-ungi and bacteria in the dry se-ason than in the wet season. The RDA analysis of microbial and environmental factors showed that during the dry season, the microbial communitiesin the buffer zone of Hongfeng Lake were mainly affected by total nitrogen and total salt;in the wet season, the bacterial and fungal communities were mainly affec-ted by pH andredox.Potentiation, total potassium in the soil.(3)The soil animal diversity index at the flood season of Hongfeng Lake into the estuary shows:Maxian River>Maiweng River>Houliu River>Yangchang River. The diversity index of soil animals in dry season showed: Maiweng Ri ver>Maxian River>Houliu River> Yangchang River. There was no significant di-fference in the diversity index of each plot during the two sampling periods. The animal composition of terrestrial systems is dominated by the insects of th-e arthropods.Aquatic system animals have a small number of molluscs, and the skeletons of the annelids.(4)In the investigation of flood season, the community of Lolium perenne L.and Trifolium repens in Maiweng River had a significant reduction effect o-n TN in water, with a reduction rate of 30.67%.In the dry season investigation, the community of Digitaria sanguinalis(L.)Scop.,Chenopodium album Linn and Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides in Yangchang River had a significant reduction effect on TP and TN in water, the reduction rates were 37.93% and 26.92%.the community of Digitaria sanguinalis(L.),Cynodondactylon(Linn.)Pers.and Ere mochloa ophiuroides(Munro)Hack has a significant reduction in COD,with a reduction rate of 20.37%.In summary, planting Lolium perenne L.,Cynodon dactylon,Digitaria sanguinalis(L.)Scop.,and Trifolium repens in various buffer zones can purify water quality. This study has initially explored the biological composition characteristics of high-grade deepwater lakes during dry and wet periods, and selected buffere-d vegetation arrangements suitable for planting and high purification efficiency of pollutants, providing material basis and technical support for ecological reconstruction of buffer zones in lake banks.
