Prussian blue and its analogues have broad applications in biosensor and energy conversion due to the preparation methods are simple and their excellent electrochemical properties. In this paper,we prepared cyanogel,a special Prussian blue analogue, and employed it in electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).We also prepared Prussian blue/carbon nitride(PB/g-C3N4)composites and applied them in constructing electrochemical sensor for hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)detection.Chapter 1 briefly introduces the properties of Prussian blue and its analogues, and their applications in energy conversion and sensor construction. The principles of electrochemical hydrogen evolution and the development status of H2O2 sensor are also described in this chapter. In the second chapter, cyanogel was prepared and applied in electrochemical HER.The PdCo alloy and CoN4 were obtained by annealing the cyanogel in ammonia gas.A highly improved HER catalytic activity is achieved by electrochemical treatment in a acid solution to dissolve the Co element. The results show that the HER current density is 150 mA cm-2 at an overpotential of 77 mV.The tafel slope of the electrode is 22.8 mV dec-1.In the third chapter,PB/g-C3N4 composite modified electrodes were prepared for the detection of H2O2,and a glucose biosensor was further constructed based on the H2O2 sensing. The Prussian blue nanoparticles were formed on the surface of the g-C3N4 nanosheets by the photocatalysis of g-C3N4.The PB/g-C3N4 modified electrodes exhibit a linear range of 5.0×10-3 mmol L-1?15 mmol L-1 for H2O2 sensing with the detection limit is 1.0 ?mol L-1.The glucose oxidase decorated carbon nanotube(MWCNT-GOx)complex was further prepared. The glucose sensor was constructed by a layer-by-layer assembly technique based on the electrostatic interaction between PB/g-C3N4 and MWCNT-GOx,and the resulted biosensors presented satisfied performance for glucose and excellent selectivity.
