Titanium alloy is a kind of important material in the field of aerospace manufacturing,but it possesses the character of being difficult to machine,resulting in its bad machining quality and low machining efficiency,so it impedes the rapid development of aerospace manufacturing.Thus,how to improve the machining quality and efficiency of titanium alloy has been a problem needed to be solved.Besides,the property requirement of the modern science and technology to the airplane and aircraft becoming higher and higher,more and more thin-walled parts are applied in the airplane and aircraft.But thin-walled parts usually possess the character of complicated structure,low rigidity and poor manufacturability,especially it is easy to deform when it suffered the influence of cutting force,cutting heat and cutting chatter during machining process,influencing the machining accuracy.Therefore,this thesis research on machining properties of CBN grinding tool based on thin-walled parts of titanium alloy,being beneficial to improve the machining quality and efficiency of titanium alloy thin-walled parts.This paper mainly research on the machining properties of titanium alloy thin-walled parts during grinding process through the method of combining theory and experiment.The details of research content as follows:(1)Analyzing the force condition of single grit,considering dynamic effective grit quantity per unit area on the contacting surface,this paper builds the mathematical model of grinding force which CBN grinding wheel grinding TC4 thin-walled parts based on the method that combining dimensional analysis method and experiment.Meanwhile,this paper also examines the validity of mathematical model of grinding force through experiment,and carries out the simulated analysis to the parameter optimization.(2)This paper carries out triangle heat source model through rectangular heat source model in the grinding field,and figures out density of heat flow,ultimately builds the mathematical model of grinding temperature.Meanwhile,this paper also examines the validity of mathematical model of grinding temperature through experiment,and carries out the simulated analysis to the parameter optimization.(3)Designing and making a kind of new improved grinding wheel.Then researching on grinding force and grinding temperature of the new improved grinding wheel through the method of experimental comparative analysis during grinding process.Finally,researching the effect of the new improved grinding wheel on the surface integrity of titanium alloy thin-walled parts.(4)Building the dynamic model of grinding chatter and carrying out the experiment of model test on TC4 thin-walled parts and grinding wheel.Then drawing the diagram of grinding chatter stability according to the measured result of model test.Finally,researching the effect of grinding depth in radial direction on the diagram of grinding chatter stability.(5)Researching on the surface integrity of titanium alloy thin-walled parts through experiment,including surface morphology,surface roughness,metallographic structure and microhardness,and the effect of different parameters on the surface integrity.Meanwhile,this paper research the effect of different parameters on surface integrity through experiment.
