Diamond carbide cutting tools have a wide range of uses,and the presence of cohesive phase Co in cemented carbide is the biggest factor limiting its industrial application.The traditional two-step acid-base method is due to the simple college and economical elimination of Co process,it has become the main practical means.In this paper,the main research object selected for the pretreatment of coated diamond cutting tools for cemented carbide diamonds is WC-6%Co(cobalt tungsten-based hard alloys containing 6% Co).Based on acid-base two-step pretreatment of cemented carbides,a systematic study was conducted to design different methane concentrations,with different CVD deposition pressures,and different acid and Alkali treatment times to obtain diamond-coated tools with different characteristics.optimum experimental conditions,diamond carbide-coated cutting tools were compared to ordinary cutting tools to verify the hard alloy diamond coating Tool's advantages.According to the research content,specific conclusions are as follows:1.Alkali corrosion has a great influence on the surface morphology of cemented carbide.When the alkali reacts,the surface of the cemented carbide becomes very rough.After alkali corrosion for 5 minutes,the content of Co on the surface of cemented carbide tends to be stable,accounting for about 20 %,which increased with processing time five minutes ago.On the basis of alkali corrosion,when the acid treatment is increased,the surface roughness of the cemented carbide reaches about 300 nm.2.To investigate the effect of methane concentration and deposition pressure on the adhesion of the deposited diamond coating on the surface of cemented carbide.The results show that with a methane concentration of 1%,the indentation of the hard alloy coating is minimal at the CVD deposition pressure of 20 Torr.Alloy diamond film has the best performance;3.Select ap=0.2 mm,f=0.l mm/r,v=240 m/min for the cutting conditions.Compare the carbide cutting tools and diamond coated carbide cutting tool for machining aluminum alloy cutting performance.The service life of diamond-coated tools is about ten times that of ordinary tools,and the cutting surface on the processed material is smooth and flat.
