The Crawler Plate is one of the chassis parts of construction machinery and is a wearing part.It is commonly used in construction machinery such as excavators,bulldozers,crawler cranes,and pavers.The shape of the Crawler Plate shoe is complicated,and the cross-section of each part is undulating,and some parts have a large height drop,which is difficult to form.At present,the metal crawler plate body is mainly cast and formed,and it is prone to defects such as poor microstructure of the cast structure,poor mechanical properties,low yield strength,low impact toughness,and insufficient strength of the secondary watch,which leads to coarse product structure,reduced precision,and poor mechanical properties.Affect life.In this paper,the Crawler Plate shoe is selected as the research object.The forging method is adopted.The combination of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis is used.The AISI-4120 cast steel is used as the material to systematically study the whole process of casting plate forging and forging production.The influence law and mechanism of the simulated process parameters on the forming process.Firstly,for the Crawler Plate shoe,design the forging piece,determine the size of the blank,determine the size of the final forging die;perform process analysis on the Crawler Plate parts,determine the tolerance,die forging slope and fillet radius,etc.,and finally complete the forging Drawing of the diagram.Then,the selection of the die forging step is carried out,the blank size and the blanking size are determined,the forging hammer tonnage is determined,and the process plan for the forging is determined.According to the hot forging drawing,the final forging die is designed.Determine the size of the flash groove and complete the layout of the mold.Secondly,using Deform software,numerical simulation of the forming process of forgings was carried out.The forming quality of forgings.the amount of wear of upper and lower molds,the force of forging,and the stress of the die were selected as the optimization targets.The forming process of the Crawler Plate shoes was optimized,and the ideal forgings were finally obtained.Thirdly,Deform is used to simulate the microstructure of the Crawler Plate after forging,and the change process of grain with deformation and the size of grain size at the feature point are obtained.Different deformation temperatures,deformation speed,friction factor and initial grain are studied.The influence of the size on the grain size after forging is analyzed and its influence on the grain size after forging is obtained.Fourthly,numerical simulation of the heat treatment process of the Crawler Plate shoes is carried out to obtain the hardness,equivalent stress distribution and mcrostructure distribution of the Crawler Plate shoes after quenching and tempering,and the simulation results after quenching and tempering are analyzed and found to be heat treated.The resulting Crawler Plate shoe performance meets the requirements for use.Finally,the research content of this paper is summarized and proposed.
