Sustainable use of water was incorporated into the 17 sustainable development goals(SDGs)as a guiding guideline during the period of 2015-2030.Meanwhile,the construction of ecological civilization in China also puts forward higher requirements for the research and development of new water pollution treatment technologies,in particular,because of its high concentration and high biotoxicity,printing and dyeing wastewater makes the current biological treatment technology difficult to degrade,and the chemical wastewater treatment technology has the defect of secondary pollution,the research and development of such wastewater treatment technology and equipment is extremely urgent.Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD),as a new advanced oxidation wastewater treatment technology,is expected to solve the above problems,however,there are few reports on the discharge modes affecting DBD performance with water as the medium.On the basis of research and analysis of a large number of relevant literatures,this paper carried out the development of a new water-based DBD system,the study of discharge mode,the application of dyeing wastewater research.The main innovation work of this paper is as follows:1.A novel water-based DBD system was developed.The core component of the new water-based DBD uses a hollow needle-water electrode structure;2.The water-based breakdown-atmospheric pressure Townsend discharge mode was first discovered and defined,and an electrical analysis method for water-based DBD discharge mode was proposed.The water-based type ?,water-based type ? and water-based type ? discharge modes were systematically studied using an independently constructed equivalent circuit,which was defined as water-based breakdown-atmospheric pressure Townsend discharge(WB-BD-APTD),water-based atmospheric pressure Townsend discharge(WB-APTD)and water-based atmospheric pressure glow discharge(WB-APGD);3.A water-based DBD wastewater treatment system is established.The experimental results of treating wastewater with methyl orange as a simulated pollutant showed that DBD could efficiently degrade the methyl orange solution with a concentration of 500 mg/L,and the degradation rate was up to 97.5%;4.The mechanism of water-based DBD wastewater treatment was explored and verified by experiments.
