Atmosphere boundary layer(ABL or BL)acts as a pivotal part in the climate by regulating the vertical exchange of moisture,aerosol,trace gases and energy between the earth surface and free troposphere(FT).However,compared with research on the exchange between earth surface and ABL,there are fewer researches on the exchange between ABL and FT,especially when it comes to the quantitative measurement of vertical exchange flux between them.This thesis focuses on the influence of ABL/FT transition and slope flow on the concentration of pollutants in Riguan Peak of Mount Tai,and the influence of Mount Tai south foehn on Jinan based on the observations of PM2.5?CO and O3 in Mount Tai,Taian and Jinan in one year.The concentration of CO and PM2.5 in Riguan Peak of Mount Tai is mainly influenced by the ABL which is affected by human activities.In Riguan Peak,part O3 originates from ABL while FT and the stratosphere aloft are important sources of O3 as well.The differences of concentration of pollutants between Riguan Peak and Tai'an City are closely associated with the ABL height.The height of ABL is higher in spring and summer than fall and winter.Thus,in spring and summer,the diel curves of pollutants in Riguan Peak and Tai'an City get closer,and the concentration differences decrease.The concentration of pollutants and water vapour in Riguan Peak has pronounced diural variations,and these variables are higher in daytime than nighttime.Water vapour is an effective trace gas to demonstrate the ABL/FT transition and slope flow.The high correlation between pollutants and water vapour in Riguan Peak proves that the boundary layer uplifted slope flow is the main reason to cause the increasing concentration of pollutants in Riguan Peak during daytime.South winds are rare in Jinan.When south winds prevail in Jinan,foehn takes place in general.Foehn winds will increase the temperature and decrease the relative humidity of Jinan.Fohen winds have the character to align the concentration of pollutants in Jinan ABL and Riguan Peak FT.However,nighttime foehn seems to have little influence on the CO concentration in Jinan.
