This research project is entrusted from a cooperative enterprise,studying glass-ceramics mainly prepared using blast furnace slag and other solid waste resources.Through experiment,quantitatively analysis the corrosion situation that glass-ceramics solution to furnace refractories and the influence of glass-ceramics' structure and properties due to refractory participation,to show the links and differences that from development stage to production stage of glass-ceramics;In combination with the pressing needs of the market,on the basis of further saves the energy,to develop high value-added new beautiful glass-ceramics;Finally based on various problems in the the project to discuss.By studying the melting glass etching crucible make up of different materials,that high temperature melting glass corrode quartz crucible and corundum crucible will result in an increase of the contents of SiO2 and Al2O3 respectively,and suggests which affects the structure and properties of glass-ceramics:the hardness and bending strength get higher with the augment of SiO2,the density of glass ceramics increased with the increase of Al2O3,providing references for selecting crucible in the development of glass-ceramic and selecting refractory material in the process of production.Through the researches,developed a new type of blast furnace slag glass-ceramics without heat treatment,the results show that gehlenite crystals are formed at 850? and gradually converted to pyroxene at 1010?,the mixturejhong is melted at 1200?,only containing square chromium iron ore with high melting point.With the increase of temperature,square chromite is dissolved,chrome green crystals precipitated from the molten glass;Chrome green crystals have very good adornment effect,and the crystal content increase with the prolonging of the holding time;.The whole preparation process without subsequent heat treatment stage,greatly reduce the energy consumption in the production process.As soon as possible to push out new glass-ceramics products to the market,make a discussion about the process of blast furnace slag glass-ceramics,based on the part of the problems of industrialization,it is concluded that:glass-ceramics with the unique advantages like reproducible and anti-corrosion that traditional ceramic tile and natural stone material can not be,under the endeavor of scientific researchers and entrepreneurs can improve the technical skills,productions and management situation.Glass-ceramics with its unique advantage,is expected to break building decoration market pattern,in addition to replace traditional ceramic tile and stone,with the innovative development of building and decoration design,glass-ceramics will be able to meet more diversified design,processing,and customized requirements,stretched out a wider range of applications.
