RE-doped ZnO nanoparticles with various doping concentrations were successfully fabricated via a chemical precipitation method and a chemical solution deposition method without any assistant catalyst.The effect of the Re ions doping concentration on the structures,morphologies,photoluminescence and photocatalytic properties of the nanoparticles were briefly investigated in the paper.And the structures,morphologies,chemical compositions,photoluminescence properties and photocatalytic performances were characterized by XRD,FESEM,Raman,TEM,PL,XPS and UV-Vis spectroscopy.The results showed that Ce4+,La3+,Eu3+ions were successfully incorporated into the ZnO host and the as-synthesized products were well-crystalline.And the photocatalytic activity is greatly improved.The experimental results show that:?1?The experimental results show that the photocatalytic activity of Ce doped zinc oxide samples is improved.But,the 2%of the Ce-doped ZnO nanoparticles exhibited much higher photocatalytic activities than that of the undoped one for the degradation of methyl orange?MO?in aqueous solution under UV radiation and the cerium doping concentration strongly influenced the photocatalytic activity.And it was also revealed that the increase of the defects played main role in the enhanced photocatalytic activities of the doped nanoparticles.?2?Under the irradiation of ultraviolet light for the degradation of RhB aqueous dye,each sample interval for 30 minutes,light after 3 hours the sample which the concentration of La/ZnO is 1.5%have the best photocatalytic activity,the degradation rate reached almost 100%.The degradation efficiency of the doped ZnO nanomaterials compared with undoped ZnO nanomaterials has been improved a lot.?3?The Eu-doped sample UV light for the degradation of RhB aqueous dye.After 2hours the sample which the concentration of Eu/ZnO is 1%have the better photocatalytic activity than other sample,the degradation rate reached more than95%.The degradation efficiency of the doped ZnO nanomaterials compared with undoped ZnO nanomaterials has been improved a lot.
