With the rapid development of China's economy and the accelerating industrialization process, the continuous increase of atmospheric pollutants into the atmosphere has brought unprecedented challenges and challenges to China's atmospheric environmental management, and has studied the temporal and spatial distribution and changes of atmospheric pollutants.Analysis has important practical significance for the treatment of atmospheric pollutants. As one of the many trace gases in the atmosphere, nitrogen dioxide plays an extremely important role in atmospheric photochemical reactions. The change of nitrogen dioxide in atmospheric components is also the cause of the formation of acid rain and photochemical smog.It causes certain losses and harms to human health, ecological environment and economic development.China's western region is vast and inland. At present, there are few studies on atmospheric pollutants in the study area.In 2006,the State Council executive meeting passed the"Eleventh Five-Year Plan"for the development of the western region, which enabled the industrial and economic development in the western region. With rapid development, the anthropogenic sources and concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere are increasing, and the damage to the atmospheric environment is increasing. Therefore,it is important to grasp the current situation of the spatial and temporal distribution and change of nitrogen dioxide in the western region,to find out the source of pollution and to become the primary task of environmental air pollution warning and treatment, and to have important practical significance for improving air quality. This paper takes the western region as the research object and uses the OMINO2data interpreted by the ozone observation instrument carried by the Earth observation satellite and through HDF-view,VB programming and ARCGIS software, and the monthly average value of the concentration density of nitrogen dioxide column in the western region is obtained. The average concentration of nitrogen dioxide column from January to December 2018 analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution and trend of nitrogen dioxide column concentration in the western region and different provinces and municipalities. In addition, the NDVI data combined with time series was obtained in January 2007.In December 2017,the NDVI vegetation index, monthly temperature average, monthly mean value of precipitation, and human footprint index were analyzed. The relationship between vegetation index, atmospheric temperature, precipitation, human activities and the spatial and temporal distribution and change of nitrogen dioxide column concentration was analyzed. The study found that in 2007-2017,the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in the western region showed an increasing trend and a certain seasonal variation. The highest concentration of nitrogen dioxide column was 2017 and the lowest appeared in 2007.In seasonal changes,In general, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in spring and summer is the highest, and the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in winter is lower. In the regional distribution, the concentration distribution of nitrogen dioxide column is increasing from southwest to northeast. The comparison of nitrogen dioxide column concentration in different provinces shows that the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in the provinces with large populations of economically developed population is higher. The concentration of nitrogen dioxide column in provinces with abundant population and underdeveloped industries such as Qinghai and Tibet is relatively low. There are differences in the spatial and temporal distribution of nitrogen dioxide concentration in different provinces, but the concentration of nitrogen dioxide in all provinces varies with the year.Increase and increase. In the analysis of influencing factors, the vegetation index NDVI,temperature, precipitation, human footprint and other factors were found to have great influence on the central area of the study area. The correlation between temperature, precipitation and nitrogen dioxide column concentration was positively correlated. In the comparison of the spatial distribution of human footprint and the spatial distribution of nitrogen dioxide column concentration,it is found that the spatial and temporal distribution of nitrogen dioxide column concentration in the western region is similar to the distribution of human footprint. The northeastern provinces in the western region are closely related to human activities.
