In this paper,‘Black Pearl'wax-apple fruits?Syzygium samarangense Merr.et Perry?were used as materials.The effects of postharvest treatments with different concentrations of salicylic acid?methyl Jasmonate and colchicine on physiology quality during cold storage were investigated,on that basis,the best concentrations of three inducers were selected.Furthermore,the effects of salicylic acid?methyl Jasmonate and colchicine treatment with best concentrations on active oxygen and energy metabolism of postharvest wax apples were also investigated to explore the role of three inducers on senescence of the fruits.All above were expected to provide theoretical bases for the wax-apple preservation technique.The results were as follows:Compared with other two concentrations,the treatment with 5.0mmol/L SA could significantly inhibit the increase of cottony softening index and weightlessness rate,the decrease of fruit hardness and had lower hydrogen peroxide content during the later stage of storage;the treatment of 100?mol/L MeJA had the better effect on inhibition of the increase of cottony softening index,the decrease of fruit hardness and had lower hydrogen peroxide content during earlier storage,although the effect on weightlessness rate was not as good as 50?mol/L MeJA,100?mol/L MeJA was the best concentration based on an overall consideration;0.01%colchicine was the best concentration because of the better effect on weightlessness rate,cottony softening index and fruit hardness.The treatment of SA?MeJA or colchicine all maintained higher SOD activity and significantly inhibited CTA activity peak on the sixth day;the treatment of MeJA or colchicine could enhance POD activity in different degree,but SA treatment significantly decreased POD activity;the treatment of SA or MeJA could inhibit LOX activity during the later storage,colchicine treatment had no significantly effect on that.The treatment of SA?MeJA or colchicine all significantly increased SDH activity,both MeJA and colchicine treatment had higher CCO activity than control group during the first eight days,colchicine treatment could maintain higher ATP content in the later storage,SA or MeJA treatment had no significant effect,all treatments could maintain higher energy charge,delay the process of energy deficiency,but the effect of colchicine treatment was much better.cottony softening index and weightlessness rate had significant positive correlation?r=0.906,P<0.01?,cottony softening index and hardness had significant negative correlation?r=-0.868,P<0.05?,cottony softening index and energy charge had significant negative correlation?r=-0.826,P<0.05?.Energy charge and H2O2 content had significant negative correlation?r=-0.766,P<0.05?,energy charge and SOD activity had significant positive correlation?r=0.802,P<0.05?,energy metabolism could influence active oxygen metabolism.
