With the rapid development of industry,public health risks and economic losses caused by air pollution caused by industrial production activities are increasingly prominent.The common challenges facing human society are resource issues and environmental issues.Promoting green industrial development,improving the state of the atmospheric environment,and implementing a green new policy are imperative.Therefore,objectively and scientifically measuring,evaluating and analyzing the coupling relationship between industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality is conducive to improving resource utilization efficiency,reducing pollution emissions and alleviating atmospheric environmental pressures;it has important reference significance for realizing the green transformation and development of economic growth.This paper takes 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research object.Based on the 2008-2017 statistical yearbook,environmental status bulletin and remote sensing impact data,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality,using the comprehensive index model and Coupling coordination model,in fully space-time discussion and analysis of the coordinated development of industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality in the study area.The main conclusions are as follows.?The comprehensive index of industrial green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2008-2017 showed an overall upward trend.The growth rate in the past 10 years was nearly three times.The green development potential is the main reason for the industrial green development.On the provincial scale,the industrial green development index of Jiangsu Province and Jiangxi Province is higher than the average level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,while the other provinces and cities is lower than the average level,but the gap is not so much.The comprehensive index of industrial green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2008-2017 is decreasing from the east to the west in the spatial pattern.The industrial green development sub-index showed a volatility trend in 10 years,with multiple of 3.15(resources),0.41(environment),2.65(growth),and 1.57(potential).?From 2008 to 2017,the comprehensive index of atmospheric environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed a volatility,with a growth rate of 33.39% compared to preliminary stage.The atmospheric environment is the main factor affecting the quality of the atmospheric environment.On the provincial scale,the comprehensive index of atmospheric environmental quality in Jiangsu and Sichuan provinces is higher than the average level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in majority years,however,the remaining provinces and cities are lower than the average level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in majority years.In the spatial pattern,the comprehensive index of atmospheric environmental quality of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2008-2017 is decreasing from the eastern and western regions to the central region.The atmospheric environmental quality sub-index showed a volatility upward trend in 10 years,with a multiple of 0.37(pressure),0.79(state)and 4.31(protection).?From 2008 to 2017,the coupling and coordination of industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is mainly based on better coupling and coordination.The research period is barely coupled and coordinated.The end of the study period is high-level coupling coordination,indicating that the coupling and coordination level of industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is high,but the lag of atmospheric environmental quality needs to be improved;the overall degree of coordination is increasing in a straight line,with an increase of 82.45%,indicating that the relationship between industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2008-2017 has achieved rapid progress.On the provincial scale,Shanghai,Zhejiang,Anhui,Jiangxi,Hubei,and Hunan are mainly coupled and coordinated.The research period is the first of the two types: cohesive coupling coordination and high-level coupling coordination;Jiangsu,Chongqing,and Sichuan are better coupled and coordinated.At the end of the study period,there is high-level coupling coordination;Guizhou is better coupled and coordinated;Yunnan is better coupled and coordinated,and the research period is barely coupled and coordinated.In terms of spatial pattern,the coordinated development of industrial green development and atmospheric environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2008-2017 showed a trend of coordinated development.At the beginning of the study period,the main coupling and coordination were the main ones.
