In this paper,carbon membrane combined process?granular activated carbon,high-density activated carbon,microfiltration membrane,ultrafiltration membrane?was used to purify potable water,and the performance was tested for 5 months under the condition of flow rate of 1L/min.The main indicators were TOC,UV254,turbidity and conductivity.Through the static and dynamic adsorption test of activated carbon,the efficiency test of single unit?granular activated carbon,high-density activated carbon,microfiltration and ultrafiltration water purification unit?,efficiency research of carbon membrane combined process and economic technology evaluation of carbon membrane combined process,the effect of carbon membrane combined process was explored on purifying potable water.?1?The adsorption isotherms parameters E,lgK,and 1/n of the granular activated carbon were Frundrich equations were-0.83,-0.11,0.18,and The adsorption isotherm parameters E,lgK,and 1/n of the high-density activated carbon were-0.79,0.21,0.25.The average removal rates of UV254 were 54.8%and 60.6%for granular activated carbon and high density activated carbon after 30 days of intermittent operation,and the effluent UV254 was in the range of 0.005-0.028 cm-1 and0.003-0.021 cm-1,respectively.?2?The average removal rates of UV254 for granular activated carbon,high-density activated carbon,microfiltration and ultrafiltration water purification units were 77.0%,82.9%,5.6%,and 9.0%,respectively,and the effluent UV254ranged from 0.004-0.009cm-1,0.004-0.006cm-1,0.021-0.032 cm-1,0.021-0.031 cm-1respectively.the average removal rates of turbidity were 50.4%,58.0%,86.0%,92.3%,respectively,and the effluent turbidity ranged from 0.36-0.49 NTU,0.31-0.43NTU,0.09-0.16 NTU,0.04-0.10 NTU interval respectively.?3?Simulated household use of water purification equipment,carbon membrane combined A process?PP cotton-granular activated carbon-high density activated carbon-microfiltration-ultrafiltration?,carbon film combined B process?PP cotton-granular activated carbon-microfiltration-high density activated carbon-ultrafiltration?and carbon membrane combined C process?PP cotton-microfiltration-granular activated carbon-high-density activated carbon-ultrafiltration?operated for 30 days.The average removal rate of TOC was 74.4%,80.6%,77.6%,and the effluent TOC was 0.58-0.82 mg/L,0.43-0.59 mg/L,0.51-0.67 mg/L;the average removal rate of UV254 was 72.6%,82.8%,76.7%,and the effluent UV254 was0.007-0.010 cm-1,0.003-0.008 cm-1,0.005-0.009 cm-1 interval respectively;the average removal rate of turbidity was 91.5%?94.5%?93.2%,and the effluent turbidity was 0.03-0.12NTU,0.02-0.08NTU,0.03-0.10NTU interval respectively.Carbon membrane combined with B process has the best effluent quality.The removal rates of TOC,UV254 and turbidity were high during the first 30 days after 90 days of the operation of carbon membrane combined B process?600L water yield?.After that,the removal rates of TOC,UV254 and turbidity gradually decreased with the increase of operation time.At this point,DO is also in a declining state.When the operation reached 85 days?1700 L of water production?,the effluent TOC was 1.02 mg/L,the UV254 was 0.015 cm-1,the turbidity was 0.25 NTU,and the DO was 5.64 mg/L.The TOC and turbidity of the effluent still meets the limit of the drinking water quality standard?CJ94-2005?,but it is recommended to replace the water purification unit in about 3 months in order to ensure the safety of potable water.?4?Based on the"Drinking Water Quality Standards"?CJ94-2005?,TOC,UV254,and conductivity are the evaluation indicators,Contrast the water quality among the carbon film combined B process water,bottled pure water and boiled water.The results showed that the carbon film combined B process effluent is slightly worse than the bottled pure water,better than boiled water.Therefore it is recommended to use carbon film to purify potable water.
