The excellent working performance of self-compacting concrete,SC C,is a necessary condition to ensure the construction quality.Based on theoretical analysis and experimental data,many qualitative and quantitative testing methods for the working performance of SCC have been put forward.A single testing method can not comprehensively reflect the working performance of SCC,while it will bring a lot of work to measure working performance by several testing methods.In this paper,the optimizing testing method for working performance of SCC was carried out through a series of comparative tests of SCC with different fluidity properties.The main contents and work of this paper are as follows:1.Summarizing the testing methods of working performance of SCC,the optimizing test method for working performance of SCC was designed.The slump-flow,flow time and visual stability index measured by reduced-size slump cones were used to evaluate the working performance of SCC,simplifying the testing procedure.The mix design of SCC was designed according to SCC-zone,by which the working performance of SCC could be predicted.Through the working performance testing experiment of SCC with different flowability testing by four different size slump cones and V-funnel,the slump-flow,visual stability index and V-funnel time of SCC with different flow properties were tested.2.The flow process information of slump test was obtained by image recognition technology.The curves of slump-flow over time measured by different slump cones were given.And the relationship between the flow time measured by reduced-size slump cones and the standard slump cone was analyzed,meanwhile the influence of the size change of slump cone on the performance testing results of SCC was explored.3.The flow process of SCC in different size slump cones was calculated andanalyzed from the rheological point of view.The correlation between the slump-flow and the remaining height measured by the reduced-size slump cones and the standard slump cone was discussed.The value of shape factor,a,related to the viscosity of SCC was obtained,based on which the influence of the size change of slump cone on the viscosity was studied.On the basis of the analysis and calculation results,the optimizing test method for working performance of SCC was put forward,as well as the corresponding evaluation criteria for working performance of SCC,providing reference for practical application.
