In China,mine roadway space is narrow and the total dust concentration produced in the fully mechanized mining face is about 196770mg/m3.The dust particle size distribution is wide and the size of dust particle that workers contact ranges from 1.7420.39?m,among which the dust particle size less than 10?m accounts for more than 60%.At present,wet and dry dust collectors are widely used in mine for dust removal.Wet dust collector needs a lot of water when it is used,and it can't be used in some high-cold areas and mines where groundwater resources are scarce.In addition,wet dust collector will deteriorate the temperature and humidity environment in underground space,and secondary dust raising is unavoidable.Meanwhile,dry dust collector is too big to use in the narrow space of mine roadway.Therefore,in view of the problems existing in the existing dust collectors used underground,this paper studied on the primary dust collector with small cyclone tube as the core component.In order to study the dust removal efficiency of dry primary dust collector for ming?cyclone tube group?,the flow field and dust removal efficiency of single small cyclone tube and the cyclone tube group of 3 by 3 squares grids were studied by using Fluent software.And the dust removal efficiency of the primary dust collector with 98 cyclone tubes was experimentally studied.The conclusions are as follows:?1?When the flowrate was 42.5m3/h and gas-solid concentration is 1g/m3,the dust removal efficiency of a single small cyclone tube reached the maximum of 94.6%using the A4 ash.The dust removal efficiency of small cyclone tube reached 100%under the single particle size was 9?m.?2?When the flow rate of the cyclone tube group of 3 by 3 squares grids was382.5m3/h?the average flow rate of single tube was 42.5m3/h?,and it was found numerically that there existed non-uniform air distribution in multi-tube cyclone tube group,the maximum uneven flow amplitude is 0.06982,and the positive and negative deviations of flow rate ranged from-3.5%4%.?3?The dust removal efficiency of the primary dust collector was further studied by experiment.It was found that when the flowrate was4200m3/h?the average flow rate of a single tube was 42.5m3/h?,D50 of dust particles added to cyclone tube group was 7.5?m,and the gas-solid concentration was 0.3g/m30.8g/m3,the dust removal efficiency of cyclone tube group ranged from 85.2%88.7%.With the increase of gas-solid concentration from 0.3g/m30.8g/m3,the dust removal efficiency of cyclone tube group with particle size of 10?m decreased from 92.15%89.16%.In summary,the flowrate of the dry primary dust collector?cyclone tube group?developed was 4200m3/h with volume of 600×495×297mm.And its dust removal efficiency was85.2%88.7%.The above results can provide technical guidence for the development of small dust collector.
