In order to study wood-dowel welding properties of pretreated wood dowel with acid solution,the paper discussed the effects of hydrochloric acid solution(HCI)and ferric chloride solution(FeCl3).Larch was selected as the welding substrate and birch was selected as wood dowel.Based on Welbull distribution,single factor variance analysis,nonlinear regression analysis and other theoretical methods,the pullout resistance and water resistance of wood dowel rotation welding were analyzed.The effect of different pretreatment time(10 min,20 min,30 min,1 h,2 h,4 h)was compared.In addition,the pullout resistance and water resistance of wood-dowel rotation welding with different welding depth(10 mm,20 mm,30 mm,40 mm and 50 mm)were studied.In the end,the application of wood-dowel rotation welding in node connection is preliminarily discussed,and the characteristic value analysis is used to calculate it.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Application of wood-dowel rotation welding pretreated wood dowel with acid solution can greatly improve the pullout resistance strength and water resistance of the joint.However,the pretreated of 30 min for hydrochloric acid solution was the best and the most reliable.There is an obvious nonlinear relationship between the pretreated time and the pullout resistance strength.(2)For the three experimental groups involved unpretreated group,the hydrochloric acid solution pretreated group,and the ferric chloride solution pretreated group,the welding pullout resistance strength increases with the change of welding depth and then decreases.Although the maximum of the welding depth is 40 mm,the biggest growth rate is 30 mm.The Sine function accords with the distribution law of pullout resistance strength with the change of welding depth.(3)Wood-dowel rotation welding technology is suitable for the application of node connection.The characteristic value analysis method is used to get the maximum load,yield load,initial stiffness,final displacement,ductility coefficient and energy dissipation.And these indicators can prove that wood-dowel rotation welding connection method can be applied to the node connection,and wood dowel after hydrochloric acid pretreatment can greatly improve the welding strength.Therefore,the joint strength of wood-dowel rotation welding is better than that of glue,and has the advantages of short curing time and green environmental protection.
