Treatment of dyeing wastewater is the key research object in industrial wastewater treatment. The use of ozone for degradation treatment has a good application prospect. However, the ozone utilization rate is low and the cost is high during the treatment. Therefore,a catalyst having a high surface oxygen content is prepared to promote decomposition of ozone into a radical having degradative activity, which can improve ozone utilization and reduce cost.In this paper, alumina, copper oxides and nickel oxides were used as carrier and active components to prepare catalysts. It is used to catalyze the degradation of Azo Dye Acid Red B solution by ozone oxidation. The main research contents as follows:Firstly, the preparation conditions of single-loaded Cu/Al2O3 catalysts were investigated, and the effect of catalytic degradation of Acid Red B solution was studied. Some physical and chemical properties of the catalyst were tested, the experimental results show that the oxide of copper exists in the form of CuO on the prepared Cu/Al2O3 catalyst, the carrier was loaded with1.0%CuO,impregnated at 20°C,and calcined at 600°C for 2 h.The prepared active component CuO was highly dispersed on the catalyst and has the suitable specific surface area. Its surface oxygen content reached 36.7%.The COD removal rate was 82.8%,when the Acid Red B solution concentration was 200 mg/L,the ozone flow rate was 15 L/min,the catalyst addition amount was 150 g,catalytic degradation was carried out for 40 min.And the catalyst was reused7 times, the COD removal rate was still 80.7%,and it had good catalytic degradation efficiency, indicating that the Cu/Al2O3 catalyst has good stability and certain reusability. Then, the preparation conditions of the Cu-Ni/Al2O3 catalyst were optimized, and the partial physicochemical properties of the catalyst were determined. The experimental results show that active components were CuO,NiO and Ni2O3.When Cu:Ni=5:3?molar ratio?,the loaded was0.8%,the prepared Cu-Ni/Al2O3 catalyst has the best catalytic activity, the active component was highly dispersed in the catalyst, and the surface oxygen content was 37.7%.Under the best reaction conditions, catalytic reaction for 40 min,the COD removal rate of Acid Red B solution can reach 100%,and the COD removal rate for degradation of other Azo Dyes remains above90%,indicating that the Cu-Ni/Al2O3 catalyst has a strong applicability. Finally,a simple analysis of the degradation mechanism of the catalyst:when ozone was degraded, the ozone molecule directly acts directly with the Acid Red B molecule, while the catalytic degradation process mainly relies on·OH for degradation. The addition of the catalyst is beneficial to ozone decomposes into·OH and further degrades.
