With the development of modern industry,the consumption of oil increase greatly,in petroleum products(including fuel oil,organic solvent,etc.)in the process of the production,transportation,storage and use of the leak,volatilization and waste has made a tremendous pollution to the environment.As a result,people developed various types of oil absorption material,oil absorption resin was a good one,oil absorption resin had high oil absorption rate and oil absorption rate,as well as good selectivity of oil and water,but also needed to further improve the ability to store oil volatile organic solvents.This paper established a mathematical model of the oil release from the oil absorption resin,and butyl acetate as the representative of the volatile organic solvent,and using this model to study the release kinetics of butyl acetate from oil absorption resin.First,the mathematical model that described the release process of oils in the oil absorption resin was built based on the law of conservation of mass in this paper,and through the coordinate transformation and simultaneous Dirichlet boundary conditions and Robin boundary condition to solve the mathematical model and reduction.Through fitting results of the release process of butyl acetate in oil absorption resin found that the release process of butyl acetate can be divided into two stages,the release rate of butyl acetate was almost constant at the early stage and then gradually decreases.The simulation results of mathematical model predicted that the release rate of oily substance in the oil absorption resin increased with the increase of the diffusion coefficient(D)or the relative diffusion coefficient(k),and decreased with the increase of resin radius(R).In this paper,the high oil absorption resin were prepared by suspension polymerization with styrene(St)and butyl acrylate(BA)as the main comonomers,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the dispersant,divinylbenzene(DVB)as the chemical crosslinker.The effects of resin radius,the dosage of crosslinker and monomer ratios on the absorption and release rate of butyl acetate in oil absorbent resin were investigated.And with nitrile rubber,ethylene-propylene rubber,butadiene rubber,styrene butadiene rubber(SBR3502 and SBR1502)as a physical crosslinking agent,the absorption performance and release rate of butyl acetate in the physical-chemical compound crosslinking oil absorption resin was studied.Studies results show that the oil absorption increased with the decrease of the monomer mass ratios of styrene and butyl acrylate,the dosage of chemical crosslinking agent and the increase of the dosage of nitrile butadiene rubber,the oil absorption rate of butyl acetate increased with the decrease of the mass ratio of styrene and butyl acrylate,the decrease of chemical crosslinking agent and the increase of the amount of nitrile butadiene rubber,and the release rate of butyl acetate in the oil absorption resin decreases with the decreases of the monomer mass ratios of styrene and butyl acrylate and with the increases of the dosage of chemical crosslinker.The slow-release performance of oil absorption resin is good when the monomer mass ratios of styrene and butyl acrylate is 3:1 and the dosage of chemical crosslinker is 0.17%.And butyl acetate has the largest absorption capacity and the lowest release rate in the oil absorbent resin when butadiene rubber is physical crosslinker.
