The roller is a key part of the belt conveyor belt conveyor,its cost accounts for about35% of the total cost,in the process of use,wear roller is the main failure forms of.Steel roller not only has short service life,and often worn skin and damaged belt,resulting in serious loss.In recent years,ceramic roller has gradually replaced the traditional steel roller because of its wear resistance,corrosion resistance,low thermal conductivity,high safety and low cost.Ceramic roller grinding is the key procedure in the processing,the ceramic hardness,high brittleness,low efficiency in the use of traditional grinding machine,the qualified rate is low.In order to solve the above problems,a special grinder for ceramic roller has been developed in this paper.The grinding efficiency of the grinder has been greatly improved by using the technology of both fine grinding and rough grinding,and the grinding accuracy has been improved by reducing the clamping times of the roll blank,and the worker’s labor intensity has also been reduced.The special grinder for ceramic roller designed in this paper is divided into four parts according to its functional requirements: bed,grinding head system,tailstock system and spindle system.The key technologies and grinding parameters of the four parts are mainly designed and studied.Finally,the three-dimensional model of the grinder is established.The dynamic characteristics of the special grinder for ceramic roller are the main factors affecting the working performance of the grinder and the grinding quality of the special grinder for ceramic roller.In this paper,the modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of the whole grinder are carried out by using the finite element method.The first ten vibration modes of the special grinder for ceramic roller and their corresponding natural frequencies and the steady-state response of the grinder are obtained,so as to avoid resonance when the grinder works.To the problem of chatter in grinding,the grinding chatter mechanism generated based on established mathematical model of roller grinding of ceramic support process,determine the ceramic roller grinding machine grinding parameter stable region.On the basis of the above research,the prototype has been trial-produced.Through the orthogonal test of the prototype,the optimum combination of grinding parameters has been obtained.The results show that the processing efficiency of the designed special grinder forceramic roller has been significantly improved.
