With the environment of weak global economic recovery,serious international trade protectionism,domestic economic adjustment and increasing downward pressure,rubber and plastics products in the international and domestic markets were blocked,product production and prices fell,industry economic growth slowed,and profits fell year-on-year.The competition between the industries is also becoming more and more fiercely,which brings both opportunities and challenges to China's rubber and plastics products industry.This requires that China's rubber and plastics products companies must enhance their competitive advantage,and the cost advantage of competitive advantage has been highly valued by the company management.The cost control research based on the value chain may provide an effective method for the cost control of China's rubber and plastics products companies.This is undoubtedly a "reassuring" for China's rubber and plastics products companies.It takes into account the structure of the company's costs more comprehensively,which helps the company to strengthen cost control,make cost advantages,and develop steadily.Based on a large number of research results on value chain and cost control at home and abroad,the thesis introduces a cost control method based on value chain.The thesis selects XT Rubber & Plastics Products Co.,Ltd.of the rubber and plastics products industry as the research object,and conducted in-depth field research.Through the analysis of the current situation's cost control of XT Rubber & Plastics Company,it mainly introduces the current situation of the company and the cost control situation,as well as the weak financial foundation work in cost control,the cost control ignores the relationship between upstream and downstream companies,which show the necessity of cost control based on the value chain.Then,the thesis analyzes from the perspective of the company's internal value chain,vertical value chain and horizontal value chain.Among them,the analysis of the company's internal value chain includes five main operation chains,such as material procurement operation chain,warehouse management operation chain and basic production operation chain,as well as four auxiliary operation chains,such as packaging transportation operation chain,equipment maintenance operation chain,and application operations.The cost method and the activity cost value coefficient method identify value-added operations and non-value-added operations in the internal value chain.The thesis mainly analyzes the company's vertical value chain from the perspective of suppliers and customers.The thesis mainly analyzes the company's horizontal value chain from the perspective of competitors.Finally,specific measures are proposed for the warehousing,production,material procurement and basic management links in the internal value chain.Measures for rational selection of suppliers,control of transportation costs and emphasis on customer relationship management are proposed for the vertical value chain.Measures for forming alliances with the same competitors and improving the company's own talent utilization rate are proposed for the horizontal value chain.
