The development of petroleum industry has always been widely concerned by all sectors of society,and because it is closely related to our daily life,experts and scholars have never stopped exploring and studying it.Since most oilfields in China adopt the method of water injection exploitation,the phenomenon of mixed multiphase flow occurs while the water cut of crude oil in oil Wells keeps rising.If not handled properly,the well could be abandoned.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the method of phase holdup measurement for two-phase flow.In this paper,by studying the theory of phase holdup measurement of oil-water two-phase flow by X-ray method,the equivalent model of oil-water two-phase flow holdup measurement by X-ray method is established,and the calculation formula of phase holdup of oil-water two-phase flow by X-ray method is deduced according to the attenuation law of X-ray transmission medium.Monte carlo method is used to simulate the phase holdup measurement model and X-ray tube output rate model.Based on the simulation results,a foundation is laid for the subsequent hardware circuit design.Based on the simulation model,the phase holdup measurement and control system of oil-water two-phase flow based on X-ray method is developed by means of software and hardware development.Among them,the hardware system is composed of three basic modules with simple structure and small size.The software system is composed of two subsystems,which cooperate with each other to realize the collection,analysis and processing of phase holdup data of oil-water two-phase flow.Experiments were carried out on the developed phase holdup measurement and control system.Through the comparison and analysis with the simulation results,the error of the test results is explained.It provides a feasible phase holdup measurement method for digital and intelligent oilfield production.
