Photochromic materials have been widely applied in optical limiting and beam limiting?radiographic testing?molecular switches?biomedical imaging?bioactive regulation?molecular motor?the photoelectric transforming and so on.Exploring new photochromic materials are still an significant frontier research fields of photochromism.Stable radicals are meaningful in understanding the nature of chemical bonds and mechanism of reaction in theoretical chemistry and have fundamental application in the fields in synthetic,mechanistic,and biological chemistry.On the one hand,this work exploration of organic photochromic molecules that can produce stable radicals through photoinduced charge separation,and on the other hand,we tries to study the application of these molecules in photoswitching conductance.The main contents and highlifht of this study are given as follows:1.Finding novel organic photochromic molecule1).Finding new photochromic molecule 2,4,6-Tri(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine(tpt),which can undergo intramolecular charge separation after irradiation with the formation of a rare stable triplet diradical.2).we have discovered that 4'-(n-Pyridyl)-2,2:6',2"-terpyridine(n-pytpy,n = 2,3,4)can also undergo intramolecular charge separation with the formation of a stable triplet diradical.This finding develop the varieties of stable radical compounds and the system of photochromic materials,also endow these molecule potential functions,such as photoswitch,photocatalysis etc.2.synthesis a photoswitch conductivity change photochromic compound:based on the characteristic of tpt that large,conjugated structure and likely to occur intramolecular charge separation,we successfully synthesised a new compound through self-assembly reaction of tpt and silver salt.This compound shown obvious photochromism phenomenon and have change of conductivity before and after irradiation.
