Studies On The Synthesis Of Trifluoromethyl Compounds And Its Correlating Reaction

Fluorine is a very special element.The physical or chemical properties of the molecules will be greatly exchanged when introduced with the fluorine.Trifluoromethyl is a group with strong electron-withdrawing and lipophilic properties,and the studies on trifluoromethyl-containing compounds have received widespread attention.This thesis focuses on the synthesis of trifluoromethyl-containing compounds and its correlating reation,and consists of the four parts:?1?In this part,we have summarized the progress on the synthesis of trifluoromethyl-containing compounds and its correlating reation.?2?In this part,we have studied the utility of CF₃CCl₃ as 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethylating reagents for visible light-mediated photoredox-catalyzed 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethylation and dimerization of styrenes.This reaction proceeds under mild reaction conditions and is easy to handle.Moreover,this reaction provided excellent tolerance of functional groups and sterically hindered substrates with moderate to good yields.In addition,other polychloroalkanes such as carbon tetrachloride are also suitable for this reaction.?3?In this part,we have studied a nickel-catalyzed defluorination of?-trifluoromethylated allyl or propargyl carbonates in the presence of bis?pinacolato?diboron?B₂pin₂?.Applications of the resulting building block gem-difluoro-1,3-dienes with N-?4-bromophenyl?maleimide via[4+2]cycloadditions could generate different fluorinated compounds.?4?In this part,we have preliminarily explored a rhodium-catalyzed C-H insertion rearrangement of benzyl methyl ether with ethyl?-trifluoromethyldiazoacetate.Follow-up works are still on-going.
