In order to alleviate the urban traffic congestion and facilitate citizens green transportation,many cities in China have been planning and carrying out a large-scale urban rail transit constructionand operation.With the formation of urban rail transit network,the transfer station becomes the key node which affects the operational efficiency of the whole operation network.Based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign research present situation,this paper collects and investigates the passenger flow data from the lines operated by the Beijing subway.Through the comparative analysis of the passenger flow of rail transit stations in holidays,working days,weekends and large activity days,large passenger flow stations are identified,and the passenger flow characteristics of large passenger flow stations in different periods are analyzed.Through the method of measurement and videos,the date of passenger flow characteristics is collected,such as passenger flow composition,walking speed,facilities utilization and service time.Using these data,foundation database of urban rail transit transfer station large passenger flow evaluation model is established.Based on analysis the passenger`s demand in the transfer station,i.e.,safety,unobstructed,timeliness,convenience,urban rail transit passenger flow organization evaluation index system is established.Based on the passenger flow basic database,The key indicators including passenger queuing retention,passage capacity,equipment carrying capacity,platform passenger flow density and platform capacity transfer station large passenger flow warning are constructed,which takes into account the service level of station service equipment and facilities and the scope of risk impact on passenger safety.The passenger flow evaluation model of urban rail transit transfer station is also established,and a transfer station of Beijing subway is selected as an example for simulation.The evaluation results show that this transfer station has significant safety hidden danger,i.e.,high passenger flow density in the transfer channel to line 2,longer emergency evacuation time than the standard.Reasons mainly include small subway spatial,limited passenger flow capacity of the stair in transfer change,insufficient emergency evacuation ability of the north station hall.Based on the analysis results of graded early warning,the four-level warning and grading standards for large passenger flow in stations are constructed.From the point ofview of operation safety,this paper puts forward the countermeasures of large passenger flow at all levels and the Suggestions of strengthening the management of large passenger flow,which provides technical support for the management of large passenger flow in large transfer stations.
