As a non-renewable resource,mineral resources are extremely precious.In the field of mineral processing,flotation tailings still contain a large amount of recyclable resources.In recent years,research and utilization of flotation tailings have received more and more attention.Flotation tailings have the characteristics of large reserves and low grade.For the treatment of tailings,large-volume flotation machines are suitable for sorting.The most important theoretical basis of the flotation machine amplification technology includes the residence time distribution theory.Therefore,this paper uses the pulse tracing method to determine the residence time distribution of the KYF flotation machine.This paper mainly studies the following questions:(1)Established the KYF flotation machine residence time distribution function model-lognormal distribution model.The model fitting curve has three characteristics:the beginning time of the model curve is extremely short;the slope is extremely large when the curve rises in the early stage;the tailing time is extremely long in the late stage of the curve.These three characteristics of the lognormal distribution model correspond to the three rules of the experimental liquid phase residence time distribution:the tracer pulse is injected into the flotation cell and received by the conductivity meter at the discharge port in a short time.Most of the tracer will flow out of the flotation machine within a short time after the start of the experiment;a small amount of residual electrolyte solution will remain in the flotation machine for a long time.Therefore,it is very suitable to choose the lognormal distribution model to fit the residence time.In addition,the corresponding calculation models for the short-circuit and dead zone of the residence time distribution are established.The establishment of these models has promoted the.study of the residence time distribution of the flotation machine.(2)In the experimental stage,the conditions of the liquid phase residence time distribution were tested from the two aspects of rotation speed and ore supply under single-phase conditions.The experimental results show that the effect of rotation speed on the liquid phase residence time under single-phase conditions is not significant;the amount of ore-bearing has a significant effect on the liquid phase residence time,which is manifested by the larger the ore supply,the shorter the average residence time of the liquid phase,ie the amount of ore.Negative correlation with liquid phase residence time.(3)Under single-phase conditions,the dead zone and short circuit of the liquid phase residence time distribution were analyzed.The test results show that the short-circuit and dead zone effects of the rotational speed on the liquid residence time distribution are not significant.The effects of the ore supply on the dead zone and short circuit of the liquid phase residence time distribution are significant.The specific performance is that the larger the ore supply,the larger the short-circuit volume ratio,that is,the ore supply is positively correlated with the short-circuit;The smaller the plot ratio,the negative correlation between the ore supply and the dead volume ratio.(4)Under the condition of gas-liquid two-phase,the orthogonal experiment was carried out on the distribution of liquid phase residence time from three aspects of rotation speed,ore supply and aeration.The results of orthogonal experiment show that the rotation speed has no significant effect on the liquid phase residence time under gas-liquid two-phase conditions.The effect of the ore supply on the liquid phase residence time is significant.The specific performance is that the larger the ore supply,the shorter the average liquid residence time.There is a negative correlation between the amount of ore and the average residence time of the liquid phase;the amount of aeration has a significant effect on the average residence time of the liquid phase.The larger the aeration,the longer the average residence time of the liquid phase,ie,the amount of aeration is positively correlated with the average residence time of the liquid phase..(5)Under the gas-liquid two-phase condition,the dead zone and short circuit of the liquid phase residence time distribution were analyzed.The dead volume ratio is significantly higher than that of the liquid phase residence time distribution under single-phase conditions.The short-circuit volume ratio is not much different from the short-circuit volume ratio of the liquid phase residence time distribution under single-phase conditions.
