The organometallic ruthenium,rhodium and iridium complexes have attracted extensive interests because of their good pharmacological effects.In this paper,organometallic ruthenium,rhodium and iridium complexes 1?13 have been synthesized,and their structures and antitumor biological activities have been studied1.Synthesis and characterization of complexes 1?13The ligand L1,L2,L3 and their organometallic ruthenium,rhodium and iridium complexes 1?13 were synthesis and characterized.The molecular structures of 2,4,9,12 were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction2.The biological activities of L1?L3 and complexes 1?13.The biological activity of L1?L3,PTA,2,1,3-Benzothiadiazole and the complexes 1?13 toward to T24,MGC-803,HeLa,NCI-H460,HL-7702 cell lines were determined by MTT method.The 1?13 exhibited moderate activity to these five tumor cell lines.In particular,the IC50 values of 8 toward to T24?MGC-803?HeLa and NCI-H460 cell lins were 5.96 ± 1.20,5.34±0.47,5.67±1.38,6.21±0.97 ?M,respectively3.The phototoxicity of complexes 1?4.The phototoxicity of complexes 1?4 toward to PC3,SKOV3 tumor cell line was determined by MTT method under two different conditions:dark and irradiation with light(?irr>400 nm).The results showed that the complex 1?4 exhibited a moderate activity to PC3,SKOV3 cell lines in dark.Under the irradiation of light,it showed a good photoactivity to the two cell lines.In particular,the IC50 values of complexes 3 and 4 toward to SKOV3 cancer cells were 2.7 and 2.3 ?±M under irradiation,and their PI values were 7.4 and 5.3,respectively.
