Ceramic materials have been widely concerned with their excellent properties such as high strength,corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.Ceramic 3D printing is a rapid prototyping technology emerging in recent years,which has developed rapidly in many fields.Ceramic 3D printing is applied to the traditional investment casting process.Ceramic paste is used to print shell directly instead of the traditional wax mold shell,which can reduce the product development cycle and production cost,making it more competitive in modern industrial production.In this paper,the key technologies of ceramic shell 3D printing have been studied,and the technical problems faced by materials,processes and equipment in the3D printing process of ceramic shell have been solved,including the selection of printing technology and ceramic materials,the preparation of paste,the study of technology and the formulation of scheme,as well as the structural design of the special 3D printer for ceramic shell.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:?1?The common ceramic 3D printing technology and printing materials are summarized.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various ceramic 3D printing technologies and the types of raw materials used,the extrusion free-forming technology was determined to be used to print ceramic shell.It was determined to use alumina ceramic powder printing shell by texting the flexural strength of alumina?Al2O3?,silicon carbide?SiC?and silicon nitride?Si3N4?,and combining the production cost.?2?The viscosity of alumina ceramic water-based paste was studied.Three factors of solid phase content,pH value and dispersant were selected for the orthogonal test.The proportioning scheme of alumina ceramic water-based paste was determined through the range analysis of the test results.?3?The 3D printing process scheme of ceramic shell was formulated.The printing precision,drying and sintering process of ceramic shell were studied,and the process scheme was optimized.?4?The structure of the ceramic shell 3D printer was designed,mainly including extrusion system,motion system and control system.The extrusion system uses a double-nozzle twin-screw extrusion structure,and a lifting structure is designed to prevent mutual influence between the nozzles;the motion system adopts a gantry structure;the control system uses the Arduino Mega2560 circuit board as a controller.The above research results enrich the new ideas of investment casting ceramic shell molding processing,reduce the production cost of ceramic shell,and have certain engineering value for promoting the application of advanced molding technology in investment casting.
