The Research And Innovative Application On Northern Anhui Folk Costume Of Modern Times

According to the geographical location,at present,the north of Anhui Province consists of six provincial cities in the north of Huaihe River,including Suzhou,Huaibei,Bengbu,Fuyang,Huainan and Bozhou.The folk costume in modern north of Anhui province refers to the clothing created and inherited by the public during the long living period in the late Qing Dynasty,and it shows the life style and customs as well as cultural psychology of the modern people in the north of Anhui Province,and reflects unique artistic characteristics and rich cultural connotation from the perspective of shape,texture,color,decorative patterns and so on.Taking the folk costumes in the modern northern Anhui as the research object,and regarding the three kinds of life etiquette custom and clothing custom in the north of Anhui Province including daily folk costumes,birth,marriage and funeral as the research content,this study attempts to build a modern northern Anhui folk costume system,and explore the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of folk costumes in modern northern Anhui.Then,though combining with the natural geographical environment,economic development,social cultural history and ecological conditions in modern northern Anhui,it analyzes the influencing factors of the cultural connotation of folk costumes in modern northern Anhui,and finally extracts folk costume elements for innovative design and application of the study by combining with the artistic features and cultural connotation of folk costumes in modern northern Anhui.The research content of this paper is as follows: first of all,the literature retrieval method,physical investigation method and field research method are adopted to analyze the shape and structure,texture,colour and decorative patterns of daily folk costumes in modern northern Anhui through taking the information in local chronicles as well as the physical samples investigated in field the support,and then it summarizes the artistic features of the daily folk costumes,so as to provide the basis for innovative design application with reference.Secondly,the ritual customs and dress customs in the birth,marriage and funeral of modern northern Anhui are analyzed,and the representative dress customs in the life etiquette are sorted out and analyzed.Thirdly,the cultural connotation contained in folk costumes and daily life etiquette dress custom in modern northern Anhui is explored and summarized,and the regional environment,economic development,history and culture,social environment and so on in modern northern Anhui are searched and collected,in order to explore its inner link with the cultural connotation of folk costumes in modern northern Aanhui and further analyze the influencing factors of its cultural connotation.Finally,based on the foregoing analysis and summary of the characteristics and cultural connotation of folk costumes in modern northern Anhui,the joint points of folk costume elements in modern northern Anhui and modern costume design is sought,and then the representative folk costume elements in modern northern Anhui are extracted for innovative design and application.Based on the discussion of the cultural connotation and influencing factors of folk costumes in the modern northern Anhui,it is concluded that the folk costumes in modern northern Anhui have distinctive artistic characteristics and rich cultural connotation,and they have an inseparable connection with geographical environment,economic,cultural and social environment,so the innovative application of folk costume elements of modern northern Anhui have a certain feasibility in modern fashion design.
