Our country is the machine tool big country in the world,but the domestic numerical control machine tool and the foreign advanced numerical control machine tool existence certain disparity,mainly manifests for the domestic numerical control machine tool reliability insufficiency.Taking domestic ETC series CNC lathe as an example,this paper studies the fault analysis and reliability evaluation of the machine tool.Based on the results of analysis and research,the reliability improvement measures and schemes for CNC lathes are developed.The fault analysis method and reliability evaluation method in this paper can also be used for other types of machine tool research.The reliability growth scheme in this paper can provide technical support and reference basis for machine tool enterprises in improving the reliability of machine tools.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Analyze the fault location,fault mode and fault cause of ETC series CNC lathe.A comprehensive analysis method based on fault mechanism is proposed to calculate the fault hazard value of each subsystem of the machine tool.The key factors affecting the reliability of CNC lathe are found out through fault and harmfulness analysis.(2)The reliability evaluation of CNC lathe based on linear regression method,process the fault data of the A-type CNC lathe in the ETC series draw the distribution curve.Establishing machine reliability distribution model by linear regression method,validation of reliability distribution model by KS test.(3)Two reliability evaluation methods for CNC lathes with small sample data are proposed.ETC series in the B-type CNC lathe as an example,using two methods to evaluate its reliability,and discusses the applicability of the two method.(4)According to the failure analysis and reliability evaluation results of CNC lathe,adding reliability design criteria which were easily neglected in the past,Propose measures to improve the reliability and growth program for CNC lathes key parts,established the procedure of reliability analysis of CNC lathe.
