Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic(CFRP)composites are considered to be an innovative structural configuration due to the presence of anisotropy within the composite,making it a difficult material to process,primarily during processing.It is easy to cause damage such as delamination and burrs,which seriously affects the processing accuracy and bearing performance.In this paper,the finite element model of the composite material cutting process is established,and the temperature change at the interface during the cutting process is simulated.The cutting temperature of the cutting test exit and the inlet position is measured by the infrared thermal imager to verify the accuracy of the simulation.The mechanical tests were carried out on the specimens which were heat treated to different temperatures and cooled sufficiently.The effects of heat treatment temperature on the performance of CFRP were analyzed.The mechanical tests were carried out on the specimens which were sufficiently cooled after heating for different time.The influence of heating time on the performance of CFRP was analyzed.Under the microscope,the microscopic appearance of the specimens damaged by mechanical tests under different heat treatment temperatures and heating times were observed,and the causes of CFRP damage were analyzed.Through the finite element simulation of CFRP cutting process,it is found that when the bit is cut to the interface of the laminated material,the interface temperature at the cutting point suddenly rises,which is consistent with the test results.The mechanical tests of CFRP specimens at different heat treatment temperatures show that the cutting temperature has a great influence on the mechanical properties of CFRP.When the temperature is close to the glass transition temperature,the strength is the lowest and the composite material is the most obvious.Through the mechanical tests of CFRP specimens under different heating time,it is found that when the processing time tends to 60 s,the composite has the lowest mechanical properties and the worst performance.By observing the microscopic appearance of the damaged specimen under the mechanical test,it is found that the viscosity of CFRP is greatly affected by the heat treatment temperature.The epoxy resin matrix and carbon fiber have the worst adhesion near the glass transition temperature,CFRP tends to be 60 s during heating time.When it has the lowest mechanical properties and the worst performance.
