Nylon 66 is a kind of polymer made by the polymerization of adipic acid and hexanediamine,which has excellent processing performance,physical properties and use performance,and is used widely in many industries.Nylon 66 has also a good lubricity and flow ability.However,because of the amide group(-CONH-)in nylon 66,it is easier to absorb water and the parts arc easy to deform,which limits its use in different environment.Therefore,it is necessary to change its structure by adding other materials to in order to improve the physical properties of the whole composite material.Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE),Glass bead(GB),Aramid Fiber(AF)and Molybdenum disulphide(MoS2)are the widely used in lubrication filling materials suitable for a variety of occasions.This paper studied the effect of lubrication fillers and adding different proportion on the properties of Nylon 66 composites by testing and analysis of its physical and mechanical properties,thermal properties and so on,in order to meet the different application requirements.(1)Under the influence of PTFE molecular chain,nylon 66 with PTFE filler was better for the impact property and abrasion resistance.But the tensile strength,bending strength and thermal deformation temperature had a reducing tendency.(2)When Nylon 66 filled with Glass beads,the abrasion had slightly improved,and the tensile strength,bending strength and thermal deformation temperature had an obvious rise,but the impact strength had a downward.(3)After Polyaramid fiber filled Nylon 66,it had a great effect on improving wear,the tensile strength,bending strength and thermal deformation temperature had obviously improved.The impact strength showed a downward trend.(4)Nylon 66 filled with Molybdenum disulphide had obvious effect on improving wear.The trend was increasing for tensile,bending strength and thermal deformation temperature.The impact strength basically had slightly decrease.(5)Differential scanning calorimetry indicated that the melting temperature and crystallization temperature were first increased and then decreased with the increase of filling content in nylon,which was affected by the filler.
