Over the past decade,electrochemical energy storage?EES?have greatly improved,as a wide variety of advanced electrode active materials and new device architectures have been developed.Supercapacitors are promising storage and power management devices for high energy efficiency.PEDOT:PSS,as a conductive polymer,has significant advantages,such as the richness of the material and the processability of the solution,low density,high conductivity,low thermal conductivity,advanced flexibility,portability and high stability.Transition metal compounds have been explored as promising electrode materials for SCs with high energy density by taking advantage of faradaic charge storage process of transition metal cations.In view of the above problems,the conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS was used as the research object,PEDOT:PSS and metal oxide composites were prepared through vacuum filtration technology.Characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used.The morphology and structure of the electrode were analyzed,and the electrochemical performances were studied.The detailed study is as follows:?1?The work combined PEDOT:PSS with ferric oxide to prepare PEDOT:PSS/Fe3O4 complex,at the same time the ratio of ferric oxide in complex was also exploded.Experiments show that composites have the surface morphology of spherical structure when particles are connected.The composite shows a specific capacitance of 119.7 F g-1 and capacitance retention of 71.4%after 5000 cycles when the content of Fe3O4 is 90%.?2?In this work,PEDOT:PSS and layered vanadium pentoxide were used to prepare layered PEDOT:PSS/V2O5 film through vacuum filtration technology as flexible supercapacitor.The single-layer V2O5,PEDOT:PSS/V2O5 nanocomposites were characterized by atomic force microscope?AFM?,scanning electron microscope?SEM?,transmission electron microscope?TEM?,energy spectrometer?EDS?and electrochemical methods.The results show that the introduction of layered vanadium pentoxide makes the edge of the composite appear more open structure.And the complex shows a specific capacitance of 318 F g-1 and high energy density of 22 Wh kg-1.?3?A layered PEDOT:PSS/RuO2 film was prepared using commercial PEDOT:PSS dispersion and RuO2 nanoparticles through a simple,low-cost vacuum filtration technology.The layered flexible film could be used as a rope to hang up 300gram weight and as a conducting wire in a circuit to light a blue LED lamp.The symmetrical supercapacitor based on the layered flexible films showed high specific capacitance of 591 F g-1(volumetric specific capacitance of 530 F cm-3)at 10 mV s-1,excellent long-term cycling stability?capacitance retention of 91.5%?after 5000 cycles,and high energy density of 18 Wh kg-1 at high power density of 5000 W kg-1.The flexible film as function as current collector and active material simultaneously will have practical application in miniaturized flexible supercapacitors.
