Based on the synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction experiment and theoretical simulation calculation,it was studied the evolution of the microstructure of Zr60Ni25Al15ternary amorphous alloy with the deep cooling duration under 80K cryogenic treatment.Through the analysis of synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction experimental data,it is found that the microstructure of Zr60Ni25Al15amorphous alloy has changed significantly after cryogenic continuous for a short time?20 minutes?,and the cryogenic time continues to grow, and the microstructure of the sample basically stay stable and change less. They were selected for the samples of as-cast and cryogenic treatment for 1 hour as the research objects.Based on the synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction experimental data, the atomic structure model was obtained by inverse Monte Carlo simulation, and the microstructure parameters were analyzed by Voronoi fractal method. The results show that it is larger for the effect of cryogenic treatment on the coordination number of clusters.Compared with the as-cast samples, the coordination numbers of Zr,Ni and Al atoms as central clusters show an increasing trend. The Zr atom is the most obvious change in the coordination number of the central cluster. The system analyzes the structural characteristics of icosahedral Voronoi clusters, and proposes a method for discriminating icosahedral clusters because of the Voronoi fractal method. It is found that<0,0,12,0>,<0,1,10,2><0,2,8,1>and a configuration of<0,2,8,2>can be considered as icosahedral clusters. It is highly similar for the shell atomic arrangement of these four icosahedral clusters to an ideal icosahedron instead of other clusters in the amorphous alloy structural model. In addition,it found that the central atom of the icosahedral cluster can be regarded as a solute atom in the amorphous alloy cluster dense model, and all atoms can be almost contained inside. It aims to stabilize the basic structure of the amorphous. It was analyzed for the microstructure of the cryogenically treated amorphous alloy by this method. It was found that the cryogenic treatment significantly affected the distribution of icosahedral clusters, and the content of icosahedral clusters also increased.
