With the development of economic construction in our country,such as mine,space,fire and other fields of high temperature environment more and more,the environment of high temperature heat pollution and its prevention has become an important research topic.As a kind of effective thermal protection,cooling clothing has been widely used in high temperature working place,but there are some problems such as Unsatisfaction of heat protection and poor thermal comfort.Therefore,it is emphasized by the research to chose the phase change materials with high latent heat value,the appropriate filling amount and the optimal distribution gap.In this paper,The selection of phase change material and dosage were been calculated and the distribution of phase change material was been simulated through theoretical calculation and numerical simulation method,finally,it optimize the performance of cooling clothes.We contrast the performance of the sodium chloride and potassium chloride as cooling agent and select sodium chloride as a coolant with a phase transition point between-2 ?~5 ? and the latent heat 202.5KJ/Kg.According to the heat balance equation,We calculated the human metabolism,convection heat exchange,radiation heat exchange,heat loss of the breathe and evaporate,mechanical work,Then we concluded it required for the amount of coolant 3.29 kg,3.35 kg and 3.42 kg to balance the body's waste heat in the high temperature of 40?,humidity 60% of mild,moderate and Heavy labor intensity for two hours.considering practicality and comfort principle of human thermal,we designed the details of the cooling service to determine the form of the details of the cooling clothes.According to the analysis of the form of phase change material packaging,we determined the phase change gel was packaged in a Polyurethane film(TPU)material with a size of 8cm×2cm×1.2cm for 258 packages.The thermal protection and wet transfer of cooling clothes were analyzed by numerical simulation method in the gap of 2mm,4mm,6mm,8mm and 10 mm.it show that the cooling cloth has a better performance of thermal protection and wet transfer in the gap of 4mm and it meet the needs of the thermal comfort for human body.The research results can provide support for the design and production of cooling clothes.
