Polyether modified silicone oil has excellent hydrophilic and lipophilic properties,emulsifying properties,dispersibility,low surface tension and many other characteristics.Therefore,polyether modified silicone oil has been widely used as the fabric finishing agent,polyurethane foam stabilizer,toiletries raw materials and additives,wetting agents,defoamers and emulsifiers.The foam stabilizer is one of the important applications of polyether modified silicone oil,which plays a vital role in the foaming process of polyurethane foam.In the foaming process,the foam stabilizer makes the raw materials evenly mixed and emulsifying property and low surface tension of the foam stabilizer enable foaming to be uniform and stable,and to obtain the fine cell foam.In this paper,the preparation of the process of low-hydrogen silicone oil and polyether modified silicone oil was studied.High hydrogen silicone oil,octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane(D4),hexamethyldisiloxane(MM),allyl polyether and so on were used as the main raw materials for the preparation of polyether modified silicone oil.The factors of affecting the performance of low hydrogen silicone oil and polyether modified silicone oil were studied.Polyether modified silicone oil as a foam stabilizer was applied to polyurethane rigid foam and soft foam foaming,and factors of affecting foaming effect were studied.In this paper,the preparation process and properties of low hydrogen-containing silicone oil and polyether modified silicone oil were studied.The results showed that the optimum process conditions for preparing low hydrogen-containing silicone oil were: catalyst was 2%,reaction time was 3h,reaction temperature was 65 °C and the optimal conversion rate at this time was 96.20%.When the reaction time was 2 hours,the reaction temperature was 110 ° C,the catalyst was 10 ppm,and the Si-H/C=C molar ratio was 1:1.4,the conversion,viscosity and light transmittance of the polyether modified silicone oil met the product requirements.In this paper,the structure determination and application of polyether modified silicone oil as a foam stabilizer were studied.The results showed that 700 of the molecular weight and olefin with the 1:1 of EO/PO ratio of propyl polyether and the low hydrogen siloxane oil having the 0.2888% of hydrogen content were the better structural parameters of the foam stabilizer for polyurethane rigid foam.1600 of the molecular weight of allyl polyether and 0.1327% of the hydrogen content of the low hydrogen containing silicone oil were the better structural parameters of the foam stabilizer for polyurethane soft foam.In this paper,the foaming effect of the general-purpose foam stabilizer was studied.The results showed that the general-purpose foam stabilizer could be used in both polyurethane rigid foam and polyurethane soft foam,and the foam density and foaming ratio were compared with the performance of the commercially available hard foam stabilizer and the soft foam stabilizer,and the general effect of foaming was obvious.
