Incremental sheet forming process is a partial plastic forming method,it has high flexibility,and can improve the material's formability.In the existing incremental forming schemes,backing pallet and blank holder are uesd to clamp the blank.For different structure,it needs to configure corresponding backing plate.And if multiple local structure are to be formed,the space of backing plate is limited.So in this case,it is difficult to design the plate,and the flexibility will be weaken.In this paper,a double-sided multi-point incremental forming scheme was proposed.In this scheme,three supporting tools with hemispherical head were used to replace the backing plate when forming local structures.A simple experimental platform was set up,and a preliminary experiment was carried out.The finite element modeling method of incremental forming was studied.Two kinds of double-sided multi-point incremental forming finite element models were built.The influence of process parameters on forming quality was analyzed.Finally,the methods of improving the part's profile in squeezing scheme were discussed.The main work of this paper includes the following contents:(1)Double-sided multi-point incremental forming scheme was proposed.Forming tools' trajectories and process parameters were analyzed.A simple experimental platform was built.(2)Based on the ABAQUS/Explicit platform,two kinds of double-sided multi-point incremental forming finite element models were built.And two schemes' differences were compared.(3)The influence law of process parameters on forming quality were studied under the condition that forming tools moves along a space spiral trajectory.(4)To decrease the profile error of the squeezing double-sided multi-point incremental forming scheme,an orthogonal test was designed.Based on the displacement adjustment method,the profile error were improved dramatically.
