As an important branch of organic chemistry,the total synthesis of natural products plays an important role in the field of organic chemistry,and it is of great significance for the development of organic chemistry.Hexa-substituted benzene compounds and their derivatives are a very important class of organic compounds.Many natural products and drug molecules contain the skeleton structure of hexa-substituted benzene rings.In this paper,the related activities of many hexa-substituted benzene natural products were briefly reviewed,and the synthetic strategies of related natural products were summarized.It is meaningful for the synthesis of hexa-substituted benzene compounds and their derivatives.Natural product Dimethylorsellinic acid?DMOA?molecule is a hexa-substituted benzene compound isolated from fungus M.Ramanniana.In this paper,through two synthetic strategies designed,continuous experiments have been carried out for synthesis of DMOA.Finally,the synthesis of the target molecule was accomplished.Using 2,3,6-trimethylphenol as substrate and introduction of hydroxyl group through Pd?OAc?2 catalyzed oxidation as the key reaction condition,the synthesis of Dimethylorsellinic acid?DMOA?molecule was achieved in 2.2%total yield by 6 steps.
