With the rapid increase for using ZnO desulphurizing adsorbent in the chemical industry,it is of great significance to develop efficient and clean recovery and regeneration technology for waste desulphurizer.The recovery and regeneration for ZnO waste desulfurizer were investigated by the combination of cation exchange process,direct precipitation and evaporation crystallization.The process for preparing CuS from ZnO waste desulfurizer was optimized.By comparing the products after reaction with CuCl2,CuSO4 and Cu?NO3?2 as copper source under different conditions,the optimization conditions were obtained:Cu?NO3?2 can be chosen as the best copper source,the reaction concentration is 0.5 mol/L,the reaction time is 24 h,the mole ratio of copper salt and waste desulfurizer is 1:1.05.Regenerated nano ZnO desulfurizer was prepared by direct precipitation from zinc salt solution obtained in the optimized cation exchange process.In the reaction,ammonia was used as precipitant,and the reaction pH was8.2.The penetrating sulfur capacity of regenerated ZnO was 33%,which reached the desulphurization performance of commercial ZnO based desulphurizer.NH4NO3 was prepared by evaporation crystallization from ammonia nitrogen waste solution obtained in the regeneration process.The results showed that NH4NO3 product prepared under 80?100?had high purity,little impurity,high crystallinity,and reached the requirement for nitrogen fertilizer raw materials.Based on the process parameters obtained from optimization,the whole process was preliminarily designed.The material balance,heat balance and major equipment selection were carried on.Economic and social benefits were analyzed.The development of the technology improved the utilization rate of the ZnO based desulfurizer and provided the beneficial reference for industrialization of regeneration and recycling process for waste ZnO desulfurizer.Figure 32;Table 23;Reference 148.
