With the introduction of China's “One Belt,One Road” initiative,Chinese companies' cross-border M&A activities in the countries along the route have been expanding in the number and scale of mergers and acquisitions.Cross-border M&A has become an important way for enterprises to transform and upgrade, develop markets and realize development strategies. However, mergers and acquisitions have certain risks, and it is likely that they will not achieve the expected results and even reduce the speed of enterprise development. In the craze of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, many companies are not aware of the opportunities and challenges of cross-border mergers and acquisitions.Under this circumstance, the analysis of the M&A performance and related background characteristics of countries and regions along the M&A of China's enterprises will enable enterprises to treat M&A activities more objectively and rationally, and provide experience for M&A.First of all, this paper sorts out the existing literature, and has a certain understanding of the scholars' cross-border M&A activities and performance research.Secondly,it analyzes the concept, theoretical basis and evaluation methods of M&A performance.Thirdly,in the context of analyzing China's corporate M&A activities, combining the case company and state bio-merger activities, the market reaction of M&A activities is analyzed, and the long-term performance of M&A activities is analyzed in combination with financial performance and non-financial performance.By analyzing the multi-angle and multiple indicators of Hebang Bio,it is more reasonable to evaluate the performance of M&A.Finally, based on the case analysis, sum up the experience of the state and the merger of the state, and make recommendations to the company and the government to better implement the M&A activities and improve the M&A performance.
